SENIOR PROJECT STUDENTS: Cast your eyes into May and sign up for your
presentation time. Avoid the last minute panic! The chart is up and
waiting in the English / Social Studies Office. By the first on your block
(so to speak)!
Winner of the Reflections Short Story contest was Laura Scholten. 2nd
place, Kathy Bentley, tie for 3rd Nikki Spencer and Natalie Mazur,
Honorable mention, David Foy and Ron Sadan.
Winner of the non-fiction contest was Lydia Abend. Tied for 2nd place
were Desiree De La Cruz and Lauren Fleming, Honorable mention: Anna Daigle
and Jillian Rubman.
Desiree De La Cruz, Lauren Fleming, and Jillian Rubman please come to the
library to see Ms. Smith today.
The Freshman Class will be will be having a class trip to Six Flags on
Saturday, April 29th. More information to come. If you have any
questions please see one of the Freshman Class Officers, Mr. Miller, or
Mr. Pavlik.
Attention Sophomores: The Sophomore Semi-Formal is Saturday, April 29th.
Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunch blocks next
week. Buy your sophomore semi tickets before it is too late!
Dance Club has tickets to see the world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Company
at the Wang Center on Friday, April 28. Tickets are $10, which is the
deal of a lifetime, so see or email Ms. Golding ASAP to reserve one.

THIS IS PAID IN FULL.
PLEASE INFORM MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS
THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION.
Seniors, an updated cap and gown list has been posted on the window - if
your name is on the list see Mrs. Coleman now .
I have just received the 2006 application for the Albert B. & Evelyn H.
Black Fund of Concord. Bank of America serves as Trustee for this account
and offers the scholarship each year to PAST and PRESENT students of
Concord-Carlisle High School. While the availability of funds is
announced in the local papers, we wanted to further publicize the
scholarship. Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and
up to $7,500 total. They must be in the top half of their high school
class or in good academic standing at their graduate institution.
Deadline for applications is May 5, 2006. Application may be picked up
from Mrs. Coleman in the main office.
The 2volunteer committee is accepting applications for Presidential
Service awards. Applications can be found office at by emailing
2volunteer at colonial.net. Awards are given in 3 categories: Bronze for
100 to 174 hours of service in a 12 month period, Silver for 175 to 249
hours, and Gold for 250 hours Applications must be submitted for 2006
awards by April 28.
Concords Board of Selectmen will hold the 26th Annual Holocaust Memorial
Observance on Sunday, April 30, 7:30pm at the Town House. Mr. Edgar
Krasa, survivor of the Terezin & Auschwitz camps, as well as the Death
March, will be the speaker. He will focus on the children in the camp, on
how they survived separated from their parents, and what impact the
experience had on their future lives. Ms. Rosalie Gerut, daughter of
survivors, will provide her haunting music, and the Reverend Austin
Fleming will give the closing meditation. All are welcome.
Concord Police will issue tickets for vehicle parked in a fire lane,
restricted areas and for vehicles that drive over
the curb and park on the grass! Also no student should be parking in the
lower gym lot. Students are to park only in the student parking lot.
With the start of the Spring Athletic Season this week, all students who
drive to school are reminded that parking in the lower gym lot , the lot
behind the upper gym and on the driveway behind the school is NOT allowed
during school day.(7am-6pm). Students who park in these areas will be
ticketed and possibly towed.

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!"
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
