Come tonight to Jr. State's last regular meeting of the year. We will be
discussing whether a portion of our taxes should be set aside for
humanitarian aide. Next week will be elections and an impromptu speech
contest. Everyone is welcome tonight from 6-7 in H-3.
Attention all mutants: Join scifi club today at 2:30 in H-12 where we will
plan our trip to see the new X-Men movie. Submissions are now open for
the anthology as well. Pizza, too! What more can you want? All are
welcome.
To help celebrate Spring and the near ending of the academic year, Savoury
Lane, the new concession across the street at the Beede Center, is running
a STUDENT'S SPECIAL. With a student id, you can get a drink of you
choice and a muffin or a bagel for $2. 25. $1.00 off the regular price. So
those with off-campus privileges, come during your free blocks. Freshman
and Sophomores come before school or after school. This special is running
all day and open to all students even those who are not members. Hungry?
Come check it out!
The Reuttgers Lecture Series will present the thoughts of Joey Goodwin, a
CCHS and Harvard graduate, who joined the Army and fought in Iraq
Thursday, May 18 in the Little Theater at 2:30 - all staff and students
are invited.
The Finals of the 12th Annual Moot Court Competition will take place
tomorrow night at 7 PM in the CCHS Library. Sophie Buonomo and Lucas
Henesy take on Patrick Serr and Arthur Smith. Hearing the case will be
two Massachusetts Superior Court Judges and one Massachusetts Supreme
Court Justice.
MACBETH performance on the new thrust stage specially constructed for this
production will bring the actors literally out into the audience! Show
dates are this Friday and Saturday, May 19 & 20 @ 7:30 pm, Sunday, May 21
@ 2:30 pm. Tickets will be available at the door and on-sale during lunch
today, Thursday, and Friday.
There will be a yearbook meeting tomorrow in S-8 at 2:15. Anyone
interested in working on the 2007 yearbook should attend.
Earn community service hours by volunteering at the Willard Carnival on
Sunday, June 4th, 12-4 p.m.!~
High school students are needed to help run game booths, sell food, set up
and clean up.~
Contact Elizabeth Salvi (esalvi at verizon.net) if you can help during some
or all of these hours.
Seniors, an updated cap and gown list and materials not returned list has
been posted on the window - if your name is on the list see Mrs. Coleman
now .
ATTENTION ALL SENIORS
TRANSCRIPT MONEY IS DUE NOW. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR CAP & GOWN UNLESS
THIS IS PAID IN FULL.
PLEASE INFORM MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS
THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION.
Concord Police will issue tickets for vehicle parked in a fire lane,
restricted areas and for vehicles that drive over
the curb and park on the grass! Also no student should be parking in the
lower gym lot. Students are to park only in the student parking lot.
With the start of the Spring Athletic Season this week, all students who
drive to school are reminded that parking in the lower gym lot , the lot
behind the upper gym and on the driveway behind the school is NOT allowed
during school day.(7am-6pm). Students who park in these areas will be
ticketed and possibly towed.

CCTV is the new TV studio at CCHS! It's in I Building, down the hall from
WIQH. The studio opens at 2 PM weekdays, stop by and check it out! "Don't
just watch TV. Make TV!"
Every Monday night at 6:30 PM the studio is open for YOUTH PRODUCTIONS.
High School students are invited to meet up with Mr. Joyce and TV producer
Charlie Stuart, and make plans for some very cool TV productions.
