+++++*MACBETH*+++++
Come to the spring play, Shakespeare's /Macbeth/, *Friday and Saturday,
May 19 and 20, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. in the CCHS
auditorium*. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Easily
one of Shakespeare's most popular and most often performed works,
/Macbeth/ was chosen in part to coordinate with our English classes'
study of the play. /Macbeth/ is an exciting and brutal tale of ambition,
power, manipulation, and supernatural forces that is sure to entertain.
Come witness a performance on our new thrust stage specially constructed
for this production that will bring the actors literally out into the
audience!
+++++*INTERNET SAFETY PRESENTATION*+++++
On *Thursday, June 1, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Peabody Middle School's
forum*, the Concord Police Department, Concord Public Schools, and
Concord/Carlisle Domestic Violence Round Table (CCDVT) will present a
talk entitled "What Exactly Are Your Children Doing on the Computer and
Are They Safe in 'My Space'." The presenters will be Det. Scott
Camilleri of the Concord Police Dept. and Robin Cicchetti, Willard
School Librarian. They will help parents understand the opportunities
and dangers related to the Internet and "My Space," and how to share
that information with your children. Come find out which crimes are most
frequently perpetrated against juveniles and how to establish guidelines
at home to help alleviate the risks of being susceptible to these
internet dangers.
