[CCHS] graduation thanks

Good morning,
	Just a moment to send out a few "thank you's" to the many people who made
yesterday's graduation a pleasant affair. The speeches (humorous,
meaningful, touching), the awards, and the ceremony were great, but it all
came together because of lots of people.  

	To the graduates - you were terrific. I'm very proud of you.

	To the parents, family members and friends for your patience and
cooperation in a very crowded and hot atmosphere.

	To the faculty for their help in getting everything organized in the
lower gym. And to the faculty who helped taking tickets and manning the
entry doors. 

	To Jack Mobley, Steve Wall and all the maintenance and custodial crew
members who worked very hard to get things set up indoors.

	To Louisa Coleman for having everything so well organized that many
things became easier to do at the last minute.

	To Al Dentino and the band members for being flexible as we approached
the moment of decision and for playing marvelously (as usual).

	And most of all, a huge thank you to Ned Roos who came in early to set up
the audio and video feed from the gym to the auditorium. Because of Ned's
expertise and long hours of hard work the system worked perfectly,
providing the auditorium folks the "next best thing to being there".

	FYI - Tortorelli Sound Systems has provided the sound to all 46 of the
CCHS graduations. Mr. Tortorelli told me we have had only three indoor
graduations in 46 years. Lucky me! I've been here for two of them and
presided over another that would have been indoors if it were possible
that day!
