Dear CCHS parents,
We are offering a fun and educational way for your child to earn community
service credits!  The TEEN BUDDY program is looking for CCHS students to
mentor young children from Concord's 3 elementary schools.  The program is
designed as a structured, after school program that meets twice a month,
on Wednesday afternoons, from October through May.

Time is of the essence, because we are holding a fantastic leadership
training program this week!  Outward Bound (Thompson Island) instructors
will be at CCHS this Thursday, September 28th from 2:30 - 5:30 to run a
fun and exciting 3-hour training program on leadership skills, being a
role model, personal risk-taking and how to connect with a younger child.

Please consider talking with your child about this great program in its
second year.  We had great success last year, however so far this year, we
have had more of a challenge simply spreading the word to students!  The
applications, outward bound forms, and information is attached to this
email.
Applications should be in to the guidance office no later than Tuesday,
September 26th.
