Come support your fellow students at Concord-Carlisle’s first ever fencing
invitational, this Saturday from 9-4:30!  The event will take place in
both gyms and in the cafeteria.  Bring your friends.

The annual Moot Court competition is set to begin. 
Interested in acting like an attorney?   Sign up in the Social Studies
office at the start of homeroom on  Friday January 12th. That is 9:27AM
sharp.  Sign-Up is on a first come first served basis.  Only the first 16
teams to sign up are admitted.

Due to musical rehearsals, Dance Club will not meet today.  Our next
meeting will be Friday, January 19.

Tickets for the Unplugged Coffee House are on sale for $10 in the caf
during lunch blocks.~ Come watch great musical talent and enjoy snacks and
drinks with your friends!"

The Sports Forum will be having a meeting on Monday January 8, in S-9 at
2:30. All are welcome!

There is still time to apply to go to the Biology trip to placeCitySt.
John, country-regionU.S. placeVirgin Islands this summer.  E-mail Ms.
Benson or stop by room S-5 for an application.  Application forms are due
Friday, January 12th.

There will be a meeting for all girl soccer players today at 2:30 in the
Modular classroom.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please contact Ms.
Slocum

Grace Kelly, a CCHS graduate and student at Stonehill College, will be in
the Guidance Resource Center, during all lunch blocks, today to talk with
students about Stonehill College and the Student to Student Program. 
Students interested in Stonehill College are asked to stop by and attend
this informal meeting.

One week from today, Thursday, January 11, Mr. David Prifti of the Art
Department will speak in the Little Theater at 2:30, about a certain
19th-century photographic process and the downward advance of technology. 
We'll save you a seat.

All boys lacrosse players looking to get in shape for the spring,
pre-season running starts today at timeHour14Minute302:30.  Meet outside
the Lower Gym ready to run.

Serious Repercussions will meet Monday afternoon from 2:30 - 4:00 PM in
the band room. If you want to play at the upcoming Battle of the Bands and
other events, please be in attendance.

Seniors
Any senior who has heard from a college/colleges regarding their admission
status should stop by the Guidance/Counseling department and let their
counselor and/or Mrs. McDonald know as soon as possible.

CCHS Red Ribbon Campaign is sponsoring a charity dinner/auction at the
First Parish Church in Concord to raise money for Partners in Health new
project in Lesotho, Africa.  The dinner is Friday, January 12 from 6-9 pm.
 There will be music from Serious Reprecussions, Select Chorus and our
Jazz Band, a speaker from Partners in Health, food from placeAfrica and a
silent auction.  The cost is $25.  Please come and support this worthy
endeavor.

On Wednesday January 17 we will be following a Monday schedule (A1, B1,
G1, D1, E1, F1, H1).
This is done primarily so that science lab classes can make up some time
due to lost Mondays earlier in the year. Hopefully a little advance
warning, plus timely reminder when the time comes will help people plan
accordingly.

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.
