Seniors: A list is posted on the window in the main office of students who
have not purchased a Cap & Gown – See Mrs. Coleman NOW!

Tomorrow at 2:30 in the Little Theater Mr. Prifti will give a presentation
on a 19th century photographic technique and on how progress can be a step
backwards.  All students and staff are welcome.

Should affirmative action be used in college admissions? Come discuss with
Junior State today at 6pm in H-3.

The annual Moot Court competition is set to begin. 
Interested in acting like an attorney?   Sign up in the Social Studies
office on  Friday January 12th. Sign-Up is on a first come first served
basis.  Only the first 16 teams to sign up are admitted.

There is still time to apply to go to the Biology trip to St. John, U.S.
Virgin Islands this summer.  E-mail Ms. Benson or stop by room S-5 for an
application.  Application forms are due Friday, January 12th.

Seniors
Any senior who has heard from a college/colleges regarding their admission
status should stop by the Guidance/Counseling department and let their
counselor and/or Mrs. McDonald know as soon as possible.

Attention Girl's Lacrosse Players: There will be a short informational
meeting after school on Thursday, January 11th at 2:10 in H2.  Anyone
interested in playing this season should come.  If you cannot make it or
have questions, see Coach Furey in the guidance office.

All returning and prospective Boy's Varsity Tennis Team players should
meet in room H-10 Thursday, January 11 at 2:15.  This is a mandatory
meeting for those interested in the 2007 season.  If you are not able to
attend the meeting please see Mr. Spence.

Come to Environmental Club today @2:15 in S-30.  We will be discussing our
goals & projects for the year.  All are welcome!

There will be a meeting for all girls soccer players on Friday, 1/12 from
2:30 to 3:30 in the Modular Classroom.  Please contact Ms. Slocum if you
are unable to attend.

The Concord-Carlisle High School Chorus and Orchestra will perform
Schubert's Mass in G in a joint concert on January 18th at 7:30PM in the
CCHS auditorium.

There will be a meeting Thursday, January 11 at 6:30 pm in The Little
Theater for the parents of all student members of the cast, crew and pit
orchestra of EVITA.  This meeting is a great opportunity for parents to
speak with the director, George Kendall and learn all there is to know
about the spring production.  From the schedule to costumes all will be
revealed. Please contact Brenda Delsener if you are unable to attend.  [

CCHS Red Ribbon Campaign is sponsoring a charity dinner/auction at the
First Parish Church in Concord to raise money for Partners in Health new
project in Lesotho, Africa.  The dinner is Friday, January 12 from 6-9 pm.
 There will be music from Serious Reprecussions, Select Chorus and our
Jazz Band, a speaker from Partners in Health, food from placeAfrica and a
silent auction.  The cost is $25.  Please come and support this worthy
endeavor.

On Wednesday January 17 we will be following a Monday schedule (A1, B1,
G1, D1, E1, F1, H1).
This is done primarily so that science lab classes can make up some time
due to lost Mondays earlier in the year. Hopefully a little advance
warning, plus timely reminder when the time comes will help people plan
accordingly.

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.
