[CCHS] Facebook and L-S Stabbing

Dear Members of the CC Community,

In an ironic twist I'm following up my response to Art's recent e-mail about 
MySpace, this time addressing yesterday's terrible tragedy at L-S and 
Facebook.

Less than 24 hours after James Alenson was stabbed at L-S, students have 
created a Facebook page
in his honor/memory.   At last count group now has over 1500 members.

Students posting comments, memories, and hosting discussion groups on that 
site are for the most part sensitive, insightful, and caring, and many show a 
sophistication about both James and John that is far beyond their years.   We 
should all be proud to live in a community where our young adults are this 
compassionate.
