A focus group meeting for students will be held during lunch blocks today
in A-7.  This group meeting is so you can provide input into the
qualifications & personal characteristics sought in the next CCHS
principal.  All students are invited, your input is important.

If anyone did not receive a matchmaker survey, you can pick one up during
all luch blocks today and Tuesday.  If you have completed your Matchmaker
survey you should turn it in to your homeroom teacher, or to Jory
Paleologos or Jacqueline Winter.

There will be an all school dance on Saturday, Feb. 10th.  Tickets are $10
and are available during lunch blocks this week.

The Red Ribbon Campaigns’ benefit concert featuring STATE RADIO is
tomorrow!  The show will go from 5:30-9:30pm, and will have opening acts
by Uncle Babuska, Poolside Rico, Jared & the Freshman, and Pax Romana. 
Tickets are $20. and are on sale all lunch blocks.  Get them now you guys,
you won’t want to miss this show.

All students are reminded to check the student message board on the window
of the Main office for messages.  It is especially important now that
Quarter 2 has ended.  There are quite a number student names listed to see
Mrs. Merry.   Now if the time to clear up attendance questions before
report cards are printed next week.

Second Annual Community Service Opportunities Fair will be held during
Health Week tomorrow, from timeMinute30Hour1010:30 am to
timeMinute0Hour131:00 pm, at Cafeteria, CCHS.  E-mail:

Everyday this week there will be a Health Question of the Day.  If you
think you know the answer, bring your answer to Mrs. Trainor in the main
office.  Everyday a winner will be chosen and a valuable prize will be
awarded! 
Today’s question: According to experts, teenagers need AT LEAST how many
hours of sleep each night?

The WIQH Raffle has gone into overtime!  You can still purchase tickets
for only $2 from your nearest WIQH member.  But don't wait.  You only have
until Thursday to enter to win!!

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships. 

Any senior who has heard from a college or colleges regarding their
admission status should stop by the Guidance/Counseling department & let
their counselor and /or Mrs. McDonald know as soon as possible.
