Todays Health Week question: According to the federal government you
should eat at lleast two & a half cups a day of what kind of food? If
you think you know the answer, bring your answer to Mrs. Trainor in the
main office. Everyday a winner will be chosen and a valuable prize will
be awarded!
THE VOICE WILL BE HOLDING AN OPEN MEETING FOR WRITERS AND ARTISTS ON
TUESDAY AFTERNOON, FEB. 13TH, AT 2:20 IN H-16. EVERYONE WELCOME. NO
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
There will be a mandatory pre season Boys lacrosse meeting on Tuesday
February 13th in the upper gym at 2:15. All boys in grades 9 12
interested in playing lacrosse this spring should attend.
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Applications have
arrived. See Mrs. Coleman in the main office. This is an easy one to
fill out. Deadline for this scholarship is April 6th.
The first round of the Denis Cleary Moot Court tournament continues today
at 2:30PM in H-3.
Come watch Morgan and Noble take on O'Laughlin and placeCityHolland. No
late arrivals will be admitted to the spectator gallery.
Students who are still hoping to get into a Semester 2 class and want to
remain on the Wait List, must see Mrs. Tracy in Guidance no later than
Friday afternoon. Students who do not indicate a desire to remain on the
list will be removed effective Monday morning.
Attention all Seniors
Scholarship applications for the Eric R. Cohn Education Foundation are now
available from Mrs. Coleman in the Main Office. Postmark deadline for
applications is April 2, 2007. This is a very easy application form to
fill out.

TODAY!

Stop by the Art Gallery across from the library enjoy a special display
dedicated to health.
There will be a fan bus today to Boston Latin for the boys basketball
game. If you are interested, sign up with Mrs. Hammer ASAP. Cost for the
bus will be $3.00.
Notice: Bus 16 will now be bus 33. Bus 33 has same route as #16 but
different bus.
Carnations are on sale in the cafe during lunch blocks. Flowers are $2 and
available in red, white, or pink. Carnations will be distributed during
lunch blocks on Valentine's Day. When you buy your carnation, you must
know where your recipient is during either D E or F block on Valentines
Day.
Attention Academic Bowl: the MIT tournament will be happening on
Saturday, March 3. Come see Mr. Atlas today to pick up a permission slip
so that you can go.
First Parish in placeCityConcord is holding a Book Sale on Saturday, from
1pm to 5pm, with most books priced at $1 or $2.
Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program. Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.
Any senior who has heard from a college or colleges regarding their
admission status should stop by the Guidance/Counseling department & let
their counselor and /or Mrs. McDonald know as soon as possible.
There has been some confusion about the March professional day. March
15th is the professional day for K-12. It was changed in July because of
MCAS testing.
There are still some tickets available for the CCPOPS theater trip on
Sunday, February 11th to see DOUBT. The bus will leave CCHS at 3:30pm and
the performance starts at 5:00pm. Tickets are $40.00 which includes your
ticket and round trip bus transportation. There are forms on the bulletin
board outside the chorus room. Please call Nancy Peck at 978-369-0321 for
more information.
You're invited to attend the following program - free of charge - and also
may receive extra credit for attending by checking with your English
teachers. Dr. Jean Kilbourne is coming to the CCHS Auditorium on Monday,
Feb. 12 at 7:30 PM. She will speak on: "Deadly Persuasion: The
Influence of Advertising on Teenagers." Certificates for credit will be
given out that evening before the program begins. Ask at the registration
table. We hope to see you there!
