AP sign up’s start tomorrow, they are $83 each (check made out to CCHS). 
Please ask your teacher what test to sign up for.  Bring your check to
Mrs. Trainor in the Main Office.

The first round of the Denis Cleary Moot Court tournament  continues today
at 2:30PM in H-3.
Come watch Andersen and Shoup take on Bourque and Wayland. No late
arrivals will be admitted to the spectator gallery.

All boys lacrosse players interested in getting in shape should meet
outside the lower gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays at timeMinute35Hour142:35
ready to run.

The Ultimate Frisbee Club will hold two important meetings for anyone
interested in playing on a team this spring. Boys will meet Thursday,
March 1st at 2:15 in S-27.~~ Everyone is welcome, no experience
necessary.~ If you are interested but can’t attend the meetings, please
sign up with Mr. Beckwith before the end of the week.

Attention Seniors: Every year the CCHS Senior Class hosts the senior
citizens to a St. Patrick's Day Luncheon. This it will be held on
Saturday, March 17th.~ Students of 2007 are needed to set up, serve and
clean up. Community service hours will be given. Please sign up with~Mrs.
Hammer in the Main Office

The Girls Hockey Team made the State Tournament!!  Come watch them take on
Hingham in the 1st round today. @3:15 at Valley Sports!

The Concord Police will be sponsoring RAD Self Defense for High School
females, Wednesday evenings March 7, 14, 21, 28 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the
Alcott School gym. The first class March 7th will be held at the Concord
Police Station.

Evita is coming to CCHS!  Evita open’s this Friday, tickets are available
the first half of all lunch blocks all week. Evita tickets are also
available at the box office 1 hour before each show.  Performances are
Fri. & Sat. @ 7:30pm and Sun. @ 2:30pm for the next two wweekends.

Scifi club will hold a meeting today to make field trip plans eat pizza,
assuming no evil wizard sends us another snow storm.  All are welcome.

There will be a meeting for all girl’s interested in playing tennis this
apring on Monday @2:15 in H-2.  Any questions please see Tasha Stone or
Lacey Herchek.

Attention all Jr. & Sr. who qualified for NHS induction: The required
essay is due this Fri., March 2nd.  Please turn your essay in to Doc
Furey’s mailbox in the S.S. dept.  If you have any questions, or need

EVITA VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Spring Musical, EVITA is fast approaching and there are some student
volunteer positions still open.  We are in need of students to help with
hair and make up, wardrobe and front of house.  Some of these positions
are eligible for community service hours.  Ushers are needed for each
night of the performance and you get to see the show for free.  There will
be a sign up sheet outlining all the job openings posted on the bulletin
board outside the Chorus Room I-6, or you can e mail Brenda Delsener at [

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships. 

Any senior who has heard from a college or colleges regarding their
admission status should stop by the Guidance/Counseling department & let
their counselor and /or Mrs. McDonald know as soon as possible.

There has been some confusion about the March professional day.  March
15th is the professional day for K-12.  It was changed in July because of
MCAS testing.

The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Applications have
arrived.  See Mrs. Coleman in the main office.  This is an easy one to
fill out.  Deadline for this scholarship is April 6th.

Attention all Seniors
Scholarship applications for the Eric R. Cohn Education Foundation are now
available from Mrs. Coleman in the Main Office.  Postmark deadline for
applications is dateMonth4Day2Year2007April 2, 2007. This is a very easy
application form to fill out. 

Applications for the Albert B. & Evelyn H. Black Fund of Concord have
arrived.  Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and up
to $7,500 total.  They must be in the top half of their high school class
or in good academic standing at their graduate institution.  See Mrs.
Coleman for an application.  Deadline is April 20th.

A reminder: your Course Selection sheets will be collected in the March
9th homeroom.
