Today’s schedule due to MCAS testing is as follows:  ABCDEFG

Attention Sophomores
The RYLA Leadership Conference Applications have arrived.  Absolute
Deadline for application to be delivered to Mrs. Coleman is April 10th. 
Qualifications- leadership potential, good citizenship, desire to attend
the conference, and scholarship.  More information is posted on the window
by Mrs. Coleman's desk.

Per Section 2 of the Student Handbook – we request that you use only
school issued locks on your lockers.  Replacement school locks are
available from Mrs. Trainor for $6.  All non-school issued locks will be
cut off Friday afternoon.

This Saturday, the CCHS Step Club will host "Spring Bling 2007 is a
talent/fashion show".  The Step Club is performing along with a dance
group from Alcott and will showcase fashion modeled by some of CCHS' own.
Come out and support the Step Club this Saturday at 6. 
They rocked the Spirit Day performance and are sure to wow you once again.
Tickets are on sale NOW in the cafe during all lunch blocks. Advance
tickets are $7, $10 at the door. Children are $5.

Come welcome in the spring with Spectrum- Catch up with old friends.  Help
us plan the rest of the year.  Eat yummy refreshments.  See you there.  

Looking for ways to save your planet from certain doom? Then come to the
Global Warming Symposium.  It will be held here at CCHS on March 24th from
9:00 - 2:00.  Admission is free.  Learn how to stop global warming before
it is too late!

Interested in playing paintball?  Well, the Paintball Club has arrived at
CCHS for the first time.  If you are interested in joining there will be
an informational meeting Thurs. @2:15 in H-5.

Dance Club is back and ready to start our spring workshop series.  We're
kicking off with a Salsa workshop this Friday at 2:30 in the auditorium;
everyone is welcome.  See Ms. Golding with questions.

Come on.  Admit it.  You've always wanted to be an intergalactic hero. 
Scifi club can offer you the next best thing - come join us on a trip to
play Laser Tag this Friday after school.  Pick up permission slips at
today's meeting or see Mr. Nurenberg.

Don't forget to turn in your application for the Challenge Days into the
main office. These are due today.

Attention Music lovers!!  Get ready for this year's second Unplugged
performance: Friday, March 30th. Bands: tryouts will be held this Friday
after school in Little Theatre. Please sign up on the sheet outside S-29.

The CCHS May production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is holding
auditions after school on today, interested  actors can sign up for an
audition time on the bulletin board outside of I-6; audition handouts are
available in I-6.  See Mr. George Kendall if you have any questions.

Attention All Writers: The non-fiction requirement for Reflections’
Contest has been shortened to 1500 words.  Remember, the judges have
graciously offered to give feed-back on submissions.  This is a rare
opportunity to hear advise from very successful authors and improve your
writing.  The deadline has been pushed back to Monday the 26th.  You could
win $250. and be published in the Spring Issue of Reflections.

SPRING PIE SALE
CC Friends of Cheer is sponsoring a Spring Pie Sale....delicious, freshly
baked, 8-inch Emma Jones Pies (the same ones sold at Idylwilde Farms). 
Pies are only $10 each and will be delivered~to you on April 5 already
baked and ready to serve.~Choose from a selection of~pies~including
Razzleberry, Peach, Strawberry Rhubarb, Key Lime, and other springtime

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships. 

The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Applications have
arrived.  See Mrs. Coleman in the main office.  This is an easy one to
fill out.  Deadline for this scholarship is April 6th.

Scholarship applications for the Eric R. Cohn Education Foundation are now
available from Mrs. Coleman in the Main Office.  Postmark deadline for
applications is April 2, 2007. This is a very easy application form to
fill out. 

Applications for the Albert B. & Evelyn H. Black Fund of Concord have
arrived.  Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and up
to $7,500 total.  They must be in the top half of their high school class
or in good academic standing at their graduate institution.  See Mrs.
Coleman for an application.  Deadline is April 20th.
