Applications for The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Volunteer Service
Award for Outstanding Service in the Field of Human Services have arrived.
See Mrs. Coleman for an application. This award is open to grades 9-12.
Attention all CCHS bands: The class of 09 is hosting an outdoor concert
this spring on May 19th. Anyone interested in performing please sign up on
sign up sheet located on the WIQH board in the S building. Auditions will
be held Wednesday, April 25th Good luck!
The History Reading Group will meet this afternoon at 2:20 in H-6. We
will be discussing the Rape of Nanking and its influence on modern
placecountry-regionChina. All are welcome to come
Come see The Last Samurai with the Asian Culture Club after school @2:30
today in the Little Theater.
Flying cars? Flubber? And let's not even mention miti chlorions! Join
scifi club today at 2:30 in H-12 to discuss "bad science in scifi" - the
only thing cheesier will be the free pizza.
Students are reminded that they should not be in the hallways during lunch
blocks, it is disturbing the classes that are going on.
Please remember to display your parking tag and only park in the student
parking lot. Do not park behind the school or in the lower gym lot.
Attention Sophomores
The RYLA Leadership Conference Applications have arrived. Absolute
Deadline for application to be delivered to Mrs. Coleman is April 10th.
Qualifications- leadership potential, good citizenship, desire to attend
the conference,and scholarship. More information is posted on the window
by Mrs. Coleman's desk.
Would you like to enlarge your horizon? Would you like to learn a foreign
language? Would you like to study abroad? Would you like to teach somebody
else about YOUR culture? If the answer to anyone of these questions is
"yes" (or even "maybe")
come to the Little Theatre, Monday April 2nd at 7.00 p.m. to get
information about how to become and what does it feel bring an exchange
student or a host family.
Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program. Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Applications have
arrived. See Mrs. Coleman in the main office. This is an easy one to
fill out. Deadline for this scholarship is April 6th.
Scholarship applications for the Eric R. Cohn Education Foundation are now
available from Mrs. Coleman in the Main Office. Postmark deadline for
applications is April 2, 2007. This is a very easy application form to
fill out.
Applications for the Albert B. & Evelyn H. Black Fund of Concord have
arrived. Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and up
to $7,500 total. They must be in the top half of their high school class
or in good academic standing at their graduate institution. See Mrs.
Coleman for an application. Deadline is April 20th.
