Band students are reminded to bring their instruments to class everyday as
you will be playing even though Mr. Dentino is in
placecountry-regionJapan!!
The items in the lost and found pile will be sent to Goodwill on Friday
afternoon. Please check to make sure youre stuff isnt in it!
There will be a meeting for all students interested in running for a
Student Government position on Tues. April 24th in S-12 @ 2:15. This
includes class government, student senate and school committee positions.
If you have questions see Alina Meltaus or Mr. Miller.
Come to Model U.N. today at 5:30 in H-2! Remember to give a check to Mr.
kendall by Friday if you are going on the Northeastern trip.
Interested in going White Water Rafting? A CCHS trip is scheduled for
Saturday, April 28th. meeting at CCHS at 11:30am. If interested in going,
pick up a permission slip on the bulletin board outside the math office.
Slips are due this Friday!!
Attention Juniors and Seniors! There will be a Junior-Senior dance on
Friday April 27th. This is the last school dance for you Seniors, so come
have fun. Tickets will go on sale during lunch blocks in the cafe the
week after vacation.
Senior Project is looking for two juniors, members of the class of 2008,
to volunteer this Spring (2007) for the Senior Project Advisory Board. If
you serve now, your reward will be exemption from the up-coming lottery
to select participants for next year's Senior Project--that is, you will
automatically be in Senior Project, Spring 2008-- you hot ticket, you!
See Mr. Angney in the English Office ASAP if you want to take advantage
of this once-in-a-lifetime offer.
Third quarter attendance reports were distributed in homeroom yesterday.
If you didn't get your attendance report please stop by the main office
and pick it up. All Attendance reports are due to Mrs. Merry by the end
of the school day on Thursday, April 12.
Attention All Challenge Day applicants: Participants have been chosen. A
list is posted & permission slips are available on the window of S-12.
Permission slips are due this Thurs. to Mr. Miller, or you lose your place
to someone on the waitlist.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR THINGS UNATTENDED IN THE CAF OR GYM AREAS. PLEASE MAKE
SURE YOU LOCK YOUR VALUABLES IN YOUR LOCKER! There has been a rash of
ipods and calculators taken for bags that were left unattended.
Yoga Club is will not be meeting after school today
Attention all CCHS Bands: The class of 2009 is hosting an outdoor concert
on May 19. Anyone interested in performing please sign the sign up sheet
located on the WIQH boarding the S building. Auditions will be held Wed.
April 25th.
Dancers, singers, musicians, and actors are needed to perform at the
CCPOPS Awards Night on Tuesday, May 22. Sign up sheets are posted across
from the chorus room; see Ms. Golding with questions.
Concords Board of Selectmen invites everyone to join them in the 27th
Annual Holocaust Memorial Observance, Sunday, April 22, 7:30pm at the
Concord Town House. The speaker is Hungarian survivor, Marika Barnett,
with Rosalie Gerut providing her music. This event is coordinated each
year by the Concord-Carlisle Human Rights Council at the request of the
Concord Board of Selectmen. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program. Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.
Applications for the Albert B. & Evelyn H. Black Fund of Concord have
arrived. Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and up
to $7,500 total. They must be in the top half of their high school class
or in good academic standing at their graduate institution. See Mrs.
Coleman for an application. Deadline is April 20th.
Applications for The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Volunteer Service
Award for Outstanding Service in the Field of Human Services have arrived.
See Mrs. Coleman for an application. This award is open to grades 9-12.
