*+++++** DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION** * *+++++*
*
*Rachel Lipkin will present "Differentiated Instruction" (DI) on
Wednesday evening, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ripley building.
Differentiated Instruction is a method on teaching that identifies
learning types and provides suggestions for instructing these learners.
DI allows students to access information in whole-class, small group,
and individual settings. This workshop will introduce the philosophy and
terminology associated with this popular educational theory. This will
be a highly informative workshop of interest to all parents. Sponsored
by Concord Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SPED PAC).

*+++++** LIBRARY LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS** * *+++++*
*
*We are interested in having a few volunteer teens to help us spruce our
grounds prior to this coming Monday's parade and celebration. Work
consists of walking our grounds and removing papers left from this
winter. We'll supply work gloves. For more information, please contact
Guy Paquin, head custodian, at 978-318-3363 or e-mail gpaquin at minlib.net
<mailto:gpaquin at minlib.net>.

*+++++** BASEBALL PLAYERS AVAILABLE FOR WORK** * *+++++*
*
*On Saturday, May 12, (rain date is Sunday, May 13) CCHS Baseball
players will rake, plant bulbs, spread mulch, and perform light yard
work for residents of Concord and Carlisle. Players will supply rakes,
blowers, and shovels as needed (no ladders or heavy machinery). The fee
is $10 per player per hour (minimum of two players for three hours
each). All proceeds will benefit the CCHS Baseball program. Call Karen
Sabatino at 978-287-4704 to reserve your hardworking crew!

*+++++** DROP OFF/SWAP OFF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY** * *+++++*
*
*Volunteers are needed for the May 5 DropOff & SwapOff Day. This is a
wonderful opportunity for students to earn from 2-10 community service
credits by volunteering. Parents can volunteer as well. For information
visit ConcordSwapOff
