Banzai! Scifi club makes its triumphant return on Wednesday at 2:30 pm n
H-12.  Hear from the 8 members who went to Japan - pizza and seaweed candy
will be provided.  All are welcome.
	
Applications for next year's radio station managment positions are now
available.  Be an integral part of operating the small business that is
WIQH.  Stop by the staiton for complete details and important information.

Do you like to sing?  Why not receive credit towards graduation for doing
what you enjoy?  Women's Ensemble is looking for new members!  There is
currently no audition for this choir (or for regular chorus) and it is not
too late to sign up for either group.  Please see your guidance counselor
as soon as possible to request Women's Ensemble or Chorus on your schedule.

There will be a meeting for all students interested in running for a
Student Government position on Tues. April 24th in S-12 @ 2:15.  This
includes class government, student senate and school committee positions. 
If you have questions see Alina Meltaus or Mr. Miller.

Attention Theatre Tech Crew (and anyone interested in being on tech crew)!
 We're meeting after school on Wednesday to set up staging for the spring
play.  If you're able to help out, please let Jay Curran know...and plan
to be after school on Wednesday.

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  There will be a Junior-Senior dance this
Friday.  This is the last school dance for you Seniors, so come have fun. 
Tickets will go on sale during lunch blocks in the caf.

Come to  Junior State on Wednesday at 6pm in H-3. 

Thoreau School is holding it’s first ever Road Race on May 20th to support
the Thoreau Elementary School.
It will include a Kids One Mile Fun Run and a 5K Race with a family BBQ
picnic after the races.  Sign up sheets are in the Main Office w/Mrs.
Trainor.

Will Brett Mahoney and Ross Silverman please come see Mr. Nurenberg ASAP
today.

Students’ who received letters about the Harvard University survey, please
remember to return your consent forms to Mrs. Hammer in the main office by
this Friday morning..  The survey will be conducted during lunch blocks on
Friday in the Auditorium.

Attention all CCHS paintball participants – there is a short mandatory
meeting this Wednesday at 2:15 in H-5.

Come celebrate, remember and honor the life of Adrian Martinez on Monday,
April 30th (rain or shine) at 7:00 pm at the Emerson Track, Concord, MA. 
Friends are invited to participate in '23 Laps for Adrian' by walking,
running, talking, sharing, and signing a guest book which will be sent to
the placeCityMartinez family.

Attention all Senior NHS members – Please sign up TODAY at the NHS board
for envelope stuffing F block on Wednesday.

Attention all CCHS Bands: The class of 2009 is hosting an outdoor concert
on May 19.  Anyone interested in performing please sign the sign up sheet
located on the WIQH boarding the S building.  Auditions will be held Wed.
April 25th.

Dancers, singers, musicians, and actors are needed to perform at the
CCPOPS Awards Night on Tuesday, May 22.  Sign up sheets are posted across
from the chorus room; see Ms. Golding with questions.
 
Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships. 

Applications for The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Volunteer Service
Award for Outstanding Service in the Field of Human Services have arrived.
 See Mrs. Coleman for an application. This award is open to grades 9-12.

Come celebrate, remember and honor the life of Adrian Martinez on Monday,
April 30th (rain or shine) at 7:00 pm at the Emerson Track, Concord, MA. 
Adrian, who would turn 23 on April 30th, graduated from Concord Carlisle
High School in 2002 and Williams College in 2006.  He was an avid and
accomplished runner and athlete who valued family, friendship and
citizenship above all else.   Friends are invited to participate in '23
Laps for Adrian' by walking, running, talking, sharing, and  signing a
guest book which will be sent to the Martinez family.  If you are unable
to come on Monday but would like to send a message to the Martinez family,
please stop by the Recreation Department desk in the Hunt Gym to and leave
your message in the designated box.
