*+++++** PARENTING BY HELGA** * *+++++*

Remember when your senior student was in the fourth, fifth and sixth
grades? Remember the brochure "How to Enjoy Living with your
Pre-adolescent" and feeling like no one understood how hard it was to
parent a preteen? Then, Kathryn Yamartino guided us through that
turbulent time with the HELP presentation. Now that our preteens are
seniors, Kathryn Yamartino, Ed.M.,Psy.D. of North Bridge Psychological
Associates, is offering another presentation for parents: How to Enjoy
Letting Go of your Adolescent (HELGA). Yamartino will examine issues
often encountered during the senior student's transition out of the
family, CCHS, and their community. She will offer strategies for
improved communication and for restoring or maintaining a healthy
relationship with the student and other family members. Please join the
Concord Carlisle Parent Initiative on *Tuesday, May 8, from 7:30 to 9
p.m. in the CCHS Auditorium*.
