Please note the following correction: applications for next year's radio
station management positions are due NEXT Friday, May 11.  Stop by the
station for complete details and important information.  Applications are
also available online at wiqh.org.

The sophomore semi will be this Saturday, May 5, from 7-10:30. Tickets
will be on sale in the cafeteria during all lunch blocks for $20 this
week. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.  If you received a free ticket
due to cookie dough sales, you must still go to the table in the cafe to
check in.

Tomorrow afternoon, Ms. Hull will present a lecture on the Mexican artist
Frida Kahlo, at 2:30 in the Little Theater.  All students and staff are
invited.

Please join CCHS Peer Leadership in our Walk for Peace and Justice this
coming Sunday, May 6, from timeHour13Minute01-4 p.m.  Register at the
cafeteria at 12:30.
This year, our walk will celebrate the life of Abdirauf Abdullahi, a
member of the class of 2006 who was killed last June in a random act of
violence.  There will be a bus leaving from METCO in Roxbury at 11:45.

TRANSCRIPT MONEY IS DUE NOW.  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR CAP & GOWN UNLESS
THIS IS PAID IN FULL.  

PLEASE IN FORM  MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR  FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS
THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION

Do you like Jazz, Pop, Broadway and A Cappella Style Music?  This will be
the focus of women's choir for next year.  Please see Ms. Smith in I-6 if
singing in this group interests you.

The English department announces its 18th  annual Paula Sirois ( It's
suh-ROY (emphasis on the second syllable) Poetry Contest.  Bring your
entries (2 or 3 poems) to Ms. Cox in the English department office
opposite H-13.  No names on the poems, please - you'll be assigned a
number for the competition.  Submission deadline is Wednesday, May 9.  Any
questions?  Ask your English teacher.

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships. 

The unofficial term 3 honor roll list has been posted on the window
outside Mrs. Trainor’s desk.  As you know, there are always omissions. 
Please tell Mrs. Trainor or Dr. Weinstein by Wednesday, May 9th if you
have been omitted.
