Hi Louise.  I am a parent who is involved in the meetings about the rail
trail in Concord.  The Bruce Freeman Rail TRail is a 25-mile multi-use
trail that runs from Lowell to Framingham, through the towns of
Chelmsford, Westford, Carlisle, Acton, Concord, and Sudbury.  The town has
hired a designer for the trail section through Concord and there are
several important community outreach meetings scheduled in May and June to
solicit feedback from the community about use of the trail.  One of the
most important meetings is next Thursday, May 10 regarding the surface to
be used for the trail.  
 
The attached communication was approved by the town Advisory Committee
(Jim Terry) to provide information to Concord citizens.  Would you be able
to circulate it to parents of high-schoolers via email?  I would really
appreciate it.  Thank you.
