*+++++** HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU** * *+++++*

*Due to last weekend's rain, the Carlisle Trails Committee has 
rescheduled building the 70-foot boardwalk on the trail to Estabrook 
Woods for *Sunday, May 27*.  Join us any time from 9 a.m. until the job 
is done, whatever your schedule permits. Please park in the parking area 
north of the fire pond on the east side of 211 Bellows Hill Road, 
Carlisle (look for signs). Follow the trail that starts just inside the 
granite posts, continuing on the trail around the Bartlett Farm property 
to a little beyond the south end of the field visible on your right 
through the trees. Materials have been hauled to the end of the field 
and need to be taken the last 100 yards to the work site, some digging 
and rock work will be done to locate the concrete bumpers, and the 
uprights and decking for the boardwalk will be nailed. Bring hammers, 
nail aprons, gloves, waterproof boots for working in shallow water, and 
bug repellant. This is a good chance for students to earn community 
service hours. Coffee, donuts, drinks and sandwich materials will be

*+++++** THE CARNIVAL NEEDS YOU** * *+++++*

*The 2007 Willard Carnival is looking for volunteers. This is a 
community service opportunity. The event will take place on *Sunday, 
June 3, from 12 to 4 p.m.*, and we are looking for a few good people to 
help us out. We need help with set up from 8  to 11 a.m., manning the 
booths from 12 to 4 p.m., and cleanup from 4 to 5 p.m. *Anyone

will be limited so call early!

*Please join us on *Tuesday, May 29, at 7 p.m. in the CCHS Library* for 
the Annual Meeting of the CCHS Parents Association. At this meeting, 
we'll briefly review the progress and activities of the past year, and 
vote in the slate of officers and committee members for the year ahead. 
It's a great opportunity to meet other parents and share your input for 
the coming year's plans. If you have questions, *please call Carolyn
