For all those interested in trying out for the Boys Cross-Country Team
next fall, there will be a mandatory meeting this Thursday at
timeMinute30Hour142:30 in H9. Questions, see addressStreetMr. Lane in the
Social Studies Department.

Reminder:  Homeroom will take place onTuesday, June 12th at the end of H
block in order to distribute attendance reports.  Attendance reports are
due by the end of the day on Friday, June 15th.  

Boys Basketball meeting on Tuesday for everyone interested in playing next
season @ timeMinute30Hour142:30 in the Faculty Dining Room.

There will be a Yearbook Meeting today @2:15 in S-8.  All interested in
working on the class of 2008 Yearbook are encouraged to attend.  Food will
be provided.

Staff Members
Ellen Waters, Social Worker, and Betsy Bulger, 4th Grade Teacher, are
retiring. Would you or your children like to write a letter to Ellen or
Betsy or do you have any pictures that you would like to share with these
beloved, dedicated Thoreau Staff? They will be added to Memory Books being
prepared to present to Ellen and Betsy. Please submit them to Debbie

Cheer Team Try-outs will be held June 15th @ 4pm in the lower gym.  All
are welcome.
Open practice begins June 6th from 4-6pm.  There is an information packet
available in the main office with Ms. Hammer.

Want to talk about what its like growing up in Concord? Free pizza and
drinks to Concord students who spend one hour after school on Tuesday,
June 12 talking to the Commmunity Youth Aliance about your experiences as
a teenager in Concord. All are welcome--! Meet in H4 at t2:20. Be there or
be square.

Attention! BIG TAG SALE---This Saturday  6/16 at placeCrosby's Market from
timeMinute0Hour99:00 to timeMinute0Hour131:00.  Fundraising by the CCHS
Swim/Dive team.  Run home and clean out your house--- box up the giveaway
items and bring to placeCrosbys between timeMinute0Hour88:00 and
timeMinute30Hour99:30. No used clothing.-- rain date the following day.

Scholarship information from Independent Companies is now available
On-Line through the Naviance Program.  Seniors should also check that
program periodically to obtain additional information on new scholarships.

TRANSCRIPT MONEY IS DUE NOW.  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR CAP & GOWN UNLESS
THIS IS PAID IN FULL.  

PLEASE IN FORM  MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR  FINAL DECISION OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS
THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION.

Have any old cell phones or used ink cartridges lying around the house? 
If so, there is a box in the office for them.  They will be recycled & the
benefits will be given to an orphanage in placecountry-regionEthiopia.  If
you have any questions see Cate Medeiros or Katie Deisenroth.
