Teen Health TV Series Needs You!
Want to tell the world what teens really need to know about health? Feel
creative, impassioned, and ready to meet your 15 minutes of fame? CCTV,
Emerson Hospital and the Community Youth Alliance want you to share your
ideas Wednesday, Jan. 9 during D, E or F block at the CCTV studio. Pizza
and drinks will be provided. Your voice deserves to be heard!  Writers,
actors, organizers, thinkers and energy needed. For more information,
contact Ms. Kirshtein in the Office Mod or just come Jan. 9th during your
lunch block!

Are you interested in philanthropy?  Are you interested in learning how a
non-profit operates and acquires funds?  Are you interested in helping
other people?  If your answer to any of these questions is “yes”, please
stop by S-11 on Tuesday January 15th at 2:20 for a short informational
meeting. If you can’t attend the meeting but are interested, stop by and
see Mr. Pennucci in S-11 to pick up an information packet.

Come to Junior State this Wednesday from 6-7 to discuss whether race
should play a part~in college admissions.

Looking for some creative and fun ways to earn community service? Come to
T.O.Y.S - otherwise known as, 'teach our youth science,'~today and every
Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30 in room S-5 

Never give up!  Never surrender!  And come to scifi club Wednesday at 2:30
in H-12 to watch GALAXY QUEST - it's Tim Allen in space.  What more do you
need?  Ok, free pizza.  All are welcome.

Meeting for all candidates for the baseball team Thurs. Jan 10 @ 2:30 in
the Faculty Dining Room.

Panel discussion on Teen Driving Safety January 10, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the
Alcott School Auditorium, 93 Laurel Street, Concord. An evening of
information for teen drivers and their parents. Officer Scott of Concord
along with representatives from Christo’s Driving School, the Skid School,
the American Automobile Association , a local insurance agency and Emerson
Hospital’s Emergency Room will be addressing the concerns of teen driving
and what can be done to increase our new drivers’ safety. We encourage
parents and teens to send in questions ahead of time, so that the panel
members will be able to address specific problems. CCPI:

The Absolute Final Diploma List Has Been Posted.  See Mrs. Coleman with
any changes. Absolute Final Deadline is Tuesday, January 15.

Multicultural Food Club will be cooking SCRUMPTIOUS Thai food on
Wednesday, January 9 at 3:30 in A-5.  The $5 fees are waived but hand in
permission slips to Dr. Vela or Mrs. Lucier by Tuesday, January 8 if you
have not done so!

All students and staff:  This Thursday, Ms. Richmond of the English
department will share her experiences from her trip to Ghana last summer,
at 2:30 in the Little Theater. 

All students interested in playing on the Boy's Varsity Tennis Team
players should meet in room H-10 Thursday, January 10 at 2:30.  If you are
not able to attend the meeting please see Mr. Spence.

Attention all students!  The Hypnotist returns!!  On Friday, Jan 11th,
Tommy Vee comes to the Auditorium to amaze everyone.  Come be hypnotized
yourself or just watch your friends do things you won't believe.  Tickets
on sale during lunch blocks for $10 before and $12 at the door.

Don’t forget to order you Cap and Gown, see Mrs. Coleman, price $30!!

Driver Education (afternoon and evening classes) begin TODAY, Call Christo

The Battle of the Bands Crew Sign-Up sheet is now posted in WIQH.  We need
people to help us during the battle and selling tickets beforehand, sign
up in WIQH. Contact Nick Garthoff or Ned Roos in the Radio Station with
questions.
