Are you a CC super fan who occasionally can't make it to the big game? 
Don't worry WIQH broadcasts CC home games all season long!  And 88.3 FM is
always looking for new commentators, so if you want to join our team of
sports announcers, come to the radio station any time and sign up.  NO
experience required.

The winner of the Library Raffle contest was Sadiki Lestrade. Sadiki
please come into the library to pick up your prize.

The Battle of the Bands is mere weeks away.  Tickets go on sale January
25.  Get ready...

There is a yearbook meeting on Monday in room S-8 at 2:30, all are
encouraged at attend.

Chinese Folk Art Workshop is coming to CCHS! Have you ever wanted to learn
more about China and traditional Chinese dance and music? Now is your
chance! Get your tickets now! On Sunday February 3rd at 1pm, the Chinese
Folk Art Workshop will present a dynamic performance by American Chinese
youth. Proceeds will benefit a CCHS student trip to China! Tickets are $15
adults, $10 students Tickets available at the cafeteria during lunch
blocks or ask Ms. Tsou at the Foreign

Attention all students in Mr. Nurenberg's World Literature and Language
and Media classes: your permission slips for Wednesday's extra credit trip
to Harvard to see the Women Leaders of Peacemaking is due ASAP.  Any other
interested students should see Mr. Nurenberg in the English Office.

Come to~Junior~State this Wednesday from 6-7 in H-3~to discuss gender
roles in our society. 
 
The English Department would like to thank all the students who
participated in the NCTE Writing Contest and to congratulate the winners,
Sam Corrao-Clanon and Miranda Morrison.  They will now go on to compete in
the NCTE's national writing competition.

The annual Moot Court competition is set to begin. Interested in acting
like an attorney? Registration forms are available outside the Social
Studies Office. There is a new sign-up policy this year. Registrations are
accepted January 15th-17th. Only 16 teams are admitted to compete. Please
see Ms. Fox or Mr. Yered with questions.

Attention Girls Lacrosse players: There will be a meeting for all girls
interested in playing lacrosse this spring on Tuesday, January 15th at
2:10 pm in H-2.  If you cannot make it, please see Coach Furey in the
Counseling department.

Are you interested in philanthropy?  Are you interested in learning how a
non-profit operates and acquires funds?  Are you interested in helping
other people?  If your answer to any of these questions is “yes”, please
stop by S-11 on Tuesday January 15th at 2:20 for a short informational
meeting. If you can’t attend the meeting but are interested, stop by and
see Mr. Pennucci in S-11 to pick up an information packet.

The Absolute Final Diploma List Has Been Posted.  See Mrs. Coleman with
any changes. Absolute Final Deadline is Tuesday, January 15.
