Thanks to over 190 students who responded to the Library Survey!  Based on
the results, during Mid-Terms the upper level of the library will be
reserved for students who would like an area for silent, individual study.
 The first and second floors are for students who choose regular library
rules.  As usual, you are requested to enjoy your coffee, food, and cell
phones in the cafeteria.  On Sunday, January 27th, the Concord Public
Library has kindly extended their hours for students to study, and will be
open from 10am to 10pm.

“Battle of the Bands” tickets are on sale lunch blocks today and all next
week for $12.

The following students please report to the library before school TODAY
and see Ms. Franke. Letice Arthur,
Amanda Brem, Griffin Creighton, Daniel D’ Arcy, Caroline Deignan, David
Dolan, Tamara Jordan, 
Tim Kirk, Mikey Rodriguez.

Attention all Students:  Today is the last day to sign up for Challenge
Day!  Please pick up an application in the office and fill it out as soon
as possible.  Please return the completed application to the main office. 
Freshmen students will have an assembly explaining Challenge Day on
February 6.  Freshmen students will get an extension to pass applications
in following the assembly.

In an effort to help with stress management during mid-year exams, there
will be a special yoga session offered this Monday January 28 from
3:00-4:30 in the Modular Classroom outside the upper gym area.  The class
will be led by a professional yoga teacher.  Cost is $5 for students, $10
for faculty and staff.  All are welcome regardless of experience.  If you
have any questions, please email Ms. Slocum.
	
Attention All WIQH Members:  The station yearbook photo will be taken
during homeroom TODAY.  Go to your homerooms first then listen for the
announcement to come to the radio station!  ALL station members should be
in the picture.

The 20 teams for the Dodge ball tournament have been scheduled!  Sorry,
but there will be no more teams allowed to sign up.  If you would like to
come see who wins the tournament, join us in the Upper Gym on Sunday at
4pm.

Come take a quick study break, enjoy some refreshments, and start to
imagine all the fun you’ll have this summer when exams are over!  Visit
the Summer Opportunities Fair in the CCHS cafeteria on Monday evening,
January 28th, from 5:30 to 8:30.  We’ll have 90 vendors presenting this
year – with everything from local camps to exotic foreign locations, from
academic enrichment to focused sports programs, from music and art to
wilderness and adventure.  You can take away a wealth of information in
just 30 minutes.  Come visit – you’ll be glad you did!

Families for Depression Awareness; Barbara Whitcomb from See A New Sun
Foundation/ Member of the MA Coalition for Suicide Prevention; Deborah
Garfield, Director of Clinical Services, Eliot Center, Concord; ~Mark
Shelford, from the psychiatric triage services Emerson Hospital Emergency
Department; Moderated by Anne Sullivan of Wayside Youth and Family Support
