This week is Foreign Language Week. IF you'd like to enter a contest,
swing by the library this week to see if you can answer questions posed by
the FL department.
The winner of the Library contest for last week was Jason Mestancik.
Jason, please come into the library to pick up your prize.
Lillie Davis, in the Counseling Department, is meeting with Ms. DiCesare's
students for assistance with 2009 - 2009 course selections. If you have
not yet met with Ms. Davis in regards to next years schedule, please meet
with her during the week of March 3 - 8.
Anyone interested in playing FOOTBALL next fall MUST fill out a General
Information Card by March 7. Cards are available from Mr. Kerr.
There is a yearbook meeting TODAY in S-8 at 2:30 pm, all are encouraged at
attend!

CANDIDATES THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL IN LITTLE THEATER.
If any of Mr. O'Connor's juniors missed their scheduling appointment with
him this week, please be advised that he will be available next Tuesday,
March 4, at 2:05 in the Guidance Department to discuss course selections
for next year. Please see Mr. O'Connor if you have any questions.
Attention, Voice reporters and photographers: there will be a meeting to
assign articles for the next issue on Monday, March 3rd in H-16immediately
after school. Please come to sign up for an article. New writers/
photographers are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
The late winter musical "Crazy For You" opens this Friday night at 7:30.
Come see this tappin', dancin', cowboyin' Gershwin musical in the CCHS
auditorium this weekend. Tickets are $10 for students and $15for adults
and are available during lunch on Thursday and Friday or at the auditorium
door before the show. Don't risk being turned away at the door, as
happened with some of last year's sold out shows! "Crazy For You"
questions can be directed to Mr. George Kendall.
Also, ushers needed for Crazy For You. Please sign up on the sheet that is
posted across I-6. Community service hours will be awarded. Please
include your email information when you sign up. For questions, email

The Ultimate Frisbee club will be holding an informational meeting on
Wednesday, March 5 at 2:30 in room S-27. Everyone who would like to
compete on the boys or the girls teams this spring MUST attend. If you
are interested, but cannot attend the meeting you must leave your name and
e-mail with Mr. Beckwith of the Mathematics Department before the meeting.
Students anticipating Spring Sports should stop by the health office to
check the status of their physicals. This ensures that the date is
correct and you will be eligible for tryouts. Check early to avoid
disappointment.
Any new junior or senior who has not taken the MCAS test must see Ms.
Truslow today.
Attention Sophomores
Would you like to meet people your own age, build your leadership skills,
challenge yourself, and have fun. The Rotary Club of Concord will be
conducting interviews and awarding scholarship to attend the Rotary Youth
Leadership Awards Conference from June 20 to June 22, 2008. RYLA
applications have arrived. See Mrs. Coleman in the main office.
The Concord Police Department will be sponsoring RAD, Rape Aggression
Defense systems, for females. RAD is a realistic self-defense program
teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies, including hands-on
defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. This is a four-week
course using simple and easy to learn techniques, providing an effective
and proven method of self-defense. RAD classes will be held Tuesday
evenings 6:30-8:45PM (approximately). The first class, March 4, will be
held at the Concord Police Station and the remaining classes March 11, 18,
25, will be at the Alcott school gymnasium. High School females are
