        DAILY BULLETIN
FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2008

Have no fear, the Superhero Dance is here! Tonight from 7:30 - 10:30.
Don't forget to buy your ticket. They are on sale in the cafe and by the
double doors during all lunch blocks, and will not be sold at the door!
The doors close at 8.

This is a reminder that students may not use alcohol or drugs before
Friday night's dance. Any student who makes poor decisions and chooses to
do so will face significant consequences. If a pattern of drinking at
dances presents itself, the Administration will have to consider whether
we will continue to hold them.

There is a yearbook meeting on Monday in room S-8 at 2:30, all are
encouraged to attend!

Celebrate National Library Week by coming to the library, and filling out
a brief online survey! We want to know how you use the library, and your
ideas for changes. This is part of a 5 year plan, so your feedback will
affect what happens in the future. Participants will be entered into a
special prize draw.

Come for Film TODAY for "Some Like it Hot" starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony
Curtis, and Jack Lemmon. The film will start promptly at 2:30 in H-12.

POETS!! It’s time to get your work ready to submit to the 2008 Paula
Sirois Poetry Contest. Each year the English Department holds a
competition in memory of Ms. Paula Sirois, an English teacher at the high
school who was a published poet as well as the longtime advisor to
Reflections. Entries should consist of two or three poems, and should be
submitted to Mrs. Cox in the English Department office by April 18. The
poet’s name should not appear on the work; a number will be assigned each
contestant’s poem upon submission. Contest open to all, enter your work!

Come to the auditorium TODAY~at 2:30 for Dance Club.~ We will be doing
choreography, discussing our June Dance Club performance, and telling
people about upcoming salsa workshop.~ Also, we want ideas for next year’s
roster of workshops.~~ We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday.~ All
welcome!~

Spring afternoon and evening Driver Ed classes begin on Tuesday April 15.
Please call Christo Auto School to enroll, 508-481-6384.

Concord-Carlisle Community Chest Volunteer Service Award applications are
available in the main office from Mrs. Coleman.

The Class of 2008 has kicked off one of their biggest fundraisers of the
year. For the next month, students will be selling magazine subscriptions
to help defray individual costs for the Senior prom. This fundraiser is
specifically designed to help individual students reduce the cost of their
own prom ticket or even allow them to go for free. Here's how it works:
1. The Class of 2008 has a website to advertise, order, and monitor
magazine sales.
2. The site is www.supportourgroup.com/zm1180
3. Students will send this site to their friend, family, co-workers, etc.
so that others can check out the magazines offered and order online.
(Orders can also be taken in paper form)
4. Anyone who orders a magazine will be asked to enter the name of the
student who told them about the fundraiser, so that student can "get
credit" for the sale.
5. Each student who raises $80 in sales will get a half price ticket and
a free ticket if they raise $160 in sales.
This fundraiser will be in effect until Friday, April 18th. If you are
interested in ordering, or even renewing, a subscription to your favorite
magazine, check out the site or talk to a CCHS Senior. Any questions can
be directed to the class advisors, Mr. McGrath, or Ms. Giunta. Thank you
for your help. The Class of 2008
