There will be class meeting today during homeroom today.
Ms. Golding's Ruettgers students should pick up their packets in the
English office.
Support the student organizations Project Thailand and Model UN by
attending a charity concert next Thursday night,~May 8th in the Cafe.
Doors open at 6:30. There will be Sorrentos Pizza as well as other drinks
and refreshments sold at the show. The concert features CC bands "Jared
and the Freshmen" and "Uncle Babushka", as well as "The Pete and Mike
Band" from Nashville, TN. Tickets will be sold for $10 in the Cafe and at
the Double Doors during lunch blocks TODAY! No tickets will be sold at
the concert door and the number of tickets is limited, so get yours as
soon as possible. All concert proceeds will go directly to a non-profit
organization combating child trafficking in South East Asia. Any
questions, see Tom Robbins. We hope you see you there for what will be a
great show.
Come to film club this Friday, May 2 at 2:30 in H-12 to see David Lynch's
surreal masterpiece Eraserhead. Popcorn will be served.
There is a yearbook meeting on Monday in room S-8 at 2:30 pm, all are
encouraged to attend!!

Attention, all students and staff: Next Thursday afternoon, Mr. Nurenberg
will give this year's fifth Ruettgers Lecture, tentatively titled:
Drinking camel's milk, eating goat's ears and avoiding missiles in the
chicken coop. Little Theater, 2:30. Mercifully, no refreshments.
Attention all males attending the Junior or Senior Prom: Bonardi's will
be coming to CCHS this Friday to do fittings and take orders for tuxes for
the prom. These fittings will occur TODAY in the faculty dining room
during lunch blocks.
The History Reading will meet this afternoon at 2:30 in H-6. We will be
discussing the American addiction to violence and whether or not our
culture helps create it. If you want to discuss violence non-violently,
please feel free to join us.
This Saturday, May 3, join Jhamtse International's Tibetan monks Lobsang
Amdo, and the monks from Namgyal Monastery from NY, students from
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in a Parade to LAUNCH Concord'sEarth
Day Festival, 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the center of Concord, at the end of
Main Street. The parade begins at 10:00 am, the students will be carrying
a huge Snow Lion puppet they have made. Other students will begiving out
flyers for the Compassion Festival wonderful celebration next week, May 6
to May 10 at LSRHS. Community Service credits available for students who

AP TESTING BEGINS ON MONDAY LISTS OF TIMES AND ROOMS ARE POSTED AT H2, THE
MAIN OFFICE, AND THE GUIDANCE OFFICEIF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS SEE DR.

SADD will be selling tee-shirts in the cafe during all lunch this week.
The tees-shirts are $5.00. If you're interested in joining SADD, come to
the next SADD meeting on May 13th, 2:15 in S-25.
Just a reminder that students do not need to have a date to attend either
prom.
CC Paintball has returned!! If you are interested in attending the
paintball outing on May 10th, you can pick up a permission slip on
information packet on the paintball bulletin board in the S-building.
Please bring the check and permission forms to Mr. Hehn in guidance. The
next paintball meeting will be on my & in L-12 at 2:15 for final plans.
All checks and forms must be handed in by then.
If you are planning to bring someone who is not presently attending CCHS
to the Junior Prom, you must fill out a form. These forms are available
in the main office and must be returned to Mr. Miller prior to buying your
prom ticket.
Come to Dance Club, TODAY in the cafeteria, at 2:30~to work on
choreography~for Dance Club performance on Wednesday, 6/11.~ Do a solo, a
duet, or work with a group of your friends!~ Bring your music and
demonstrate your talents!~
Calling all Students, Parents, and Alumni: Two long-time teachers here at
Carlisle Public Schools are retiring this year. Lynn Walker and Daryl
Greenwood have both taught at CPS for many years, touching the lives and
hearts of hundreds of students who have passed through our doors. Please
come celebrate with us, as we honor them on May 22nd at 3:15 pm in the
Corey Dining Room. We are creating memory books for Lynn and Daryl.~
Please send your memories of~these outstanding educators!~ Write a note,
add a picture or drawing on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Send your memory by May
