Spectrum, Concord-Carlisle High School's gay-straight alliance, will meet
at 2:20 Wednesday in H4. All are welcome!

Today is the last day to audition for Grapes of Wrath.~ Sign up for
audition slots outside the Chorus Room.~ No preparation required.~
Newcomers encouraged.~ Speak with Mr. Ben Kendall for more details.

A reminder to all students considering the April 2009 trip to Japan - you
AND a parent or guardian need to come to tonight's mandatory meeting at
7pm in the little theater.

Fur or fangs, where do you stand?  Come to scifi club Wednesday at 2:30 pm
in H-12 to discuss the eternal topic: "Vampires versus Werewolves."  Free
pizza, all are welcome.

Do you want to expand on your knowledge of science? Do you want to make
bottle rockets, analyze fingerprints, or run chemical experiments? Then
come to the first meeting of Science Olympiad on Thursday in S-12 at 2:15.

Attention all students looking for a fun and meaningful way to earn
community service credits.  
The Teen Buddy program wants you!  If you are interested in being a mentor
to an elementary student who needs you as a special friend, then please
come to the Informational Meeting this Wednesday, at 2:15 in the Upper
Library or see Miss Vitello today in the Modular Offices, Rm #3

Attention students, S.A.D.D is back! That's Students Against Destructive
Decisions. Come join us at our first annual back to school pizza party on
Tuesday September 23rd, at 2:15 in room S-25. We are actively seeking new
members! This will be a fun, informational meeting for all who are
interested in being a part of our club. We hope to see you there! Please
see seniors Erinna Kilfoyle or Nicole Ginepra with questions.

Do you enjoy playing tag? Dodgeball? Handball? Quidditch is a little like
that, but add a broom. If you want to know what Muggle quidditch is all
about, come to an informational meeting in H-11 at 2:30 this Thursday;
snacks will be provided! Quidditch: it’s not just for wizards anymore.

Affairs, pregnancies, surgeries, illness, rumored sex tapes... how much
should the public know about the presidential candidates? How much is too
much? Should the families and personal lives of the candidates be off
limits from political attacks or is everything fair game? Come to Junior
State this Wednesday from 6 to 7 in H-03 to discuss.  All are welcome!

Amnesty International will meet in H-4 at 5:15pm TODAY Sept., 16th to
discuss various international human rights violations.  All are welcome!

The Math Team will hold its second practice of the year tomorrow (today)
note change for each day at 2:15 in Room S-18.  Come find out about Math
Team and do some fun problems!  All are welcome.  See Ms. Patton with any
questions.

Attention all Freshmen!  If you are interested in representing your class
as a class officer or student senator, please come to an informational
meeting directly after school TODAY, September 15 in S-12.  Any questions
see Elise Goodhue.

Authors and artists, Reflections, the art and literature magazine
published by CCHS students is welcoming new members who would be
interested in helping to layout and publish student works. Come this
Wednesday at 2:15 in the Art room to snack while discussing the
possibilities for this year's magazines. Contact Mr. Pickman with any
questions!

One School One Book will have an after school AND evening meeting
THURSDAY. Please come and join us to discuss the memoir. Don't be shy,
even if you haven't read the book we'd love to have you there. Everyone is
welcome!

Class 2012 Parent Meeting on September 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the CCHS
auditorium. Presentations will be made by Mr. Badalament, Principal along
with Mr. Simone and Ms. Brown from the counseling office.

The Concord Police Department will be sponsoring RAD for adult females.
RAD is Rape Aggression Defense Systems, which is a realistic self-defense
program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies, including
hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. This is a
four-week course using simple and easy to learn techniques, providing an
effective and proven method of self-defense for females. High School
females are encouraged to participate. RAD classes will be held Tuesday
evenings on October 7, 14, 21, 28, from Class 6:30PM to approximately
8:45PM. The classes will be held at the Alcott School gymnasium. Class
