DAILY BULLETIN
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2008

Just to reminder to everyone— NO open containers (Dunkin Donuts,
Starbucks, water bottles, soda bottles etc.) allowed into the Football
Game on Friday night. 

Juniors -There will be a tailgate TONIGHT from 5:30-6:45 before the
Football game.

ATTENTION JUNIORS:  Today is the last day to sign up for the PSAT's in the
OFFICE MODULAR, with Mrs. McDonald. The test will be given at CCHS on
Saturday, October 18th.  Please report to the high school at 8:15 a.m. 
The cost of the test is $29.00 and must be paid by CHECK ONLY made out to
CCHS.

The One School One Book event will be Wed 10/15 at 2:30pm and then again
at 6pm to talk about A Long Way Gone, Sierra Leone and see if anyone is
interested in developing a plan for social action----please join us!

Come to Film Club this Friday at 2:30 in H-12, where we will be showing
"The Bride of Frankenstein". Popcorn and snacks will be provided.

2nd Annual CCHS Cheer Classic Thursday October 16th 8 regional teams will
be competing. All are welcome
7:00 pm Upper Gym.  $3.00 for student $5.00 for adults. Fun and food
available.

The Third wing, CC's political newspaper, will be meeting Thursday (Oct
16th) in H-9 at 2:15 to discuss the Wall Street bailout, the debates, and
everything politics. All with an interest in politics, or just an opinion,
are welcome.

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS
IF  YOU HAVE  A COLLEGE DEADLINE  FOR November 1st  THE   STUDENT  RECORD 
CONSENT  FORM  MUST BE  PASSED  IN  TO MRS. TESSARI NO LATER THAN  October
10th.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS.
Photo Retake/I.D. day is scheduled for October 14.  All students who did
not have their student ID taken MUST have it taken on October 14.  This is
the last day that the photographer will be at CCHS to process your photo
I.D. 

You can help Concord’s Sister City, San Marcos, Nicaragua by coming to The
Pete & Mike Band concert on October 11th at 51 Walden.  A group of CC
students traveled to San Marcos in August and worked in El Uval, a remote
region of San Marcos that has no natural supply of water.  They, with the
Concord-San Marcos Sister City Committee, are raising money to help El
Uval build a much needed well. Tickets are $10; all the proceeds go to San
Marcos.   Anyone can come, so spread the word. For tickets contact Alex
Gutwillig or James Avery with questions.   

Friday night Oct.24th in the CCHS football stadium at 7pm "Kick for
Cancer" soccer match between CCHS men's varsity soccer and Wayland. The
team is raising funds for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and to
memorialize Lois Wells, Coach Steve Well's mother.
