Dear Parents,
The CCHS Parents Association and the Center for Parents and Teachers
invites you to attend a special program at CCHS on Monday, Oct. 27:
The CCHS Social Scene: What A Parent Wants to Know
presented by Kelli Kirshtein, LicSW.
Kelli has been a School Adjustment Counselor and Intervention-Prevention
Counselor at CCHS for 14 years. She spends much of her time listening to
teenagers' stories about their relationships -- with teachers, friends,
parents, siblings and others. Understanding how teenagers make sense of
their social experiences improves the empathic connection that adults who
care about teens hope to maintain and strengthen. Come and share ideas,
explore assumptions and misconceptions, and take a pulse on the social
scene in Concord and Carlisle with Kelli as she reflects on her
experiences working with a wide variety of teens and teen perspectives.
Monday Oct 27, 2008 7:30 9 PM in the CCHS Library - No registration
required; no fee.
Underwritten through a grant from the CCHS Parents Association.
