TONIGHT at 7pm on the new turf field at CCHS "Kick for Cancer" soccer
match between CCHS men's varsity soccer and Wayland. The team is raising
funds for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and to memorialize Lois Wells,
Coach Steve Well's mother.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS GOING ON THE 2009 TRIP TO JAPAN: There will be a
brief but MANDATORY trip meeting Monday after school at 2:20 in H-12.
Vital information will be given out - please be there.
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF! One School One Book is collecting change for
UNICEF to assist in the rehabilitation of child soldiers. Donation boxes
in the Library. Please give.
Come see the first vampire ever represented on screen at the Film Club
meeting TODAY at 2:30 in H-12. In addition to having our picture taken
for the yearbook, we will be watching Nosferatu, the unauthorized
adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Popcorn will be served.
The History Reading Group will not meet this week. We will be back again
next week same time same place.
There is an all school dance this Saturday October 25. Tickets will be
sold all week during lunch blocks.
Sophomores
Time is running out for you to submit your HOBY application. Absolutes
deadline for applications is Oct. 28. All applications must be turned in
to Mrs. Coleman in the main office.
Program: The CCHS Pre-Season Clinic is designed to provide an opportunity
for swimmers to log in some pre-season yardage before the winter season.
Swimmers will work towards building a solid base of conditioning. Swimmers
do not need to have any competitive swimming to participate in this
clinic, but should be able to swim front crawl with rotary and rhythmic
breathing prior to sign up. Class Limit: Min. 10 Max. 30 Cost: $150.00
