All students interested in trying out for Freshman JV and Varsity boys
basketball, mandatory meeting Monday, November 17th at 230 in the faculty
dining room.
Focus, the faith based club, will meet Today at 2:30. Come hear about
Young Life activities. Everyone is welcome.
Attention all Academic Bowlers who will be attending the Harvard
tournament this Saturday. First: make sure Mr. Atlas has your permission
slip. Second: Meet in S-20 for five minutes on Friday at 2:15 to discuss
logistics.
~IF YOU HAVE A COLLEGE DEADLINE of December 15th, THE STUDENT RECORD
CONSENT FORM MUST BE PASSED IN TO MRS. TESSARI NO LATER THAN
November 19th.
Hats, lanyards and wristbands from the Kicks For Cancer soccer game
fundraiser will be on sale this week in the cafeteria during all lunch
blocks. Bring some spending money and buy a gift for someone!
If you didn't receive your attendance report in homeroom on Wednesday,
please stop by the main office to pick it up. Attendance reports are due
to Mrs. Merry, in the main office, by the end of the day Friday, Nov. 14th.
Come to Film Club this week to see "High Noon" at 2:30 in H-12. The club
will show "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" on December 5, and to see this
movie you must have a signed permission slip. Permission slips can be
found on Ms. Fischer's desk in the Social Studies office and on the club's
website, cchsfilmclub.org. Any questions, contact Molly Copeland.
The Challenge Day participant list has been posted outside of S-12. The
permission slips are due back to the main office.
Interested in Concord History, do you believe in ghosts? Then please come
hear thrilling, behind the scenes testimonial as Erin Lynch delivers this
years second Ruettgers lecture: The Old Manse, its history, secrets and
folklore, TODAY at 2:30 in the little theater.
There's still room left for any junior or senior interested in going to
England over April vacation. If interested, see Mr. Sapp in the English
office. For those already signed up, Mr. Sapp will have a meeting for
students & parents TODAY at 6:30 pm.
Attention all BookPALS participants: Our first trip to the Condon School
in Boston is next Tuesday, November 18 immediately after school. The bus
departs at 2:15 at the main entrance in front of the cafeteria. Please
make sure you have your permission slip and your completed PencilPALS
form. See Mr. Woodnal in H13 with any questions.
Looking for the perfect gift for the Sox fan in your life, or perhaps for
yourself? Sci-Fi Club has come into possession of a baseball signed by
Red Sox pitcher Hideki Okajima. We will be selling raffle tickets in the
Cafeteria today and tomorrow during all lunch blocks. Tickets are $2 each
and the money supports the April 2009 Japan trip. Come try your luck!
The Dance Club is excited to have Alice Heller back again~to run her
African Dance Workshop, Friday November 14, in the Auditorium starting
promptly at 2:30. Everyone is invited, so come and~learn traditional
dances from West Africa~and move to the~rhythm of~live drumming.~Please
wear comfortable clothes and flat sneaker or dance shoes. No bare feet.

Come see your favorite CCHS bands perform at Coffee House's first show of
the season!! High Five is tomorrow - November 14th at The Scout House, 74
Walden Street. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8! Doors open at
6:45pm and close at 8pm. Bands playing Includes: Stones Unturned, Alien in
Alien, Livid, Transience, and The Astral Projection.
