All Candidates interested in playing baseball this Spring, meeting TODAY
at 2:15 in the Faculty Dinning Room.

The state champion golf team will raise a banner in honor of the first
state title in school history at halftime of the Boy's Basketball game vs.
Boston Latin at 7:00 tonight.~ Make sure to come cheer on the hoop team
and stick around for the ceremony.

Do you enjoy cooking and consuming fine food? If so come to the
informational meeting for the Multi-Cultral Food Club on Wednesday at 2:30
in S-14. We will be taking about our first cooking meeting where we will
be making classic American cuisine. If you have any questions talk to
Giles Pettingell, Jay Stephens, or Ms. Lucier.

There will be a yearbook meeting on Monday after school in room S-8, all
are invited to attend to contribute to the yearbook. 

Interested in Statistics? Want to combine your love of mathematics with
athletics? Maybe you have the voice to get others excited about CCHS
Sports? If so,WIQH wants you in the booth for the big game! Any student
interested in calling play-by-play action on the radio station this winter
should stop by the radio station now and ask to speak to either John, Ned,
or Carl.

TODAY Film Club at 2:30 in H-12, come see Alfred Hitchcock's psychological
thriller, "Vertigo", the story of a retired policeman who falls in love
with the mysterious woman he's been hired to follow. Snacks will be
provided.

Start the New Year off by coming to the dance tonight!  Tickets will be
sold during all three lunch blocks in the café.

Did you get a new cell phone, ipod, or digital camera for Christmas or
Hannukah?  Please consider bringing your old one to the box in Mrs.
Hammer's main office so we can recycle it.  We'll have that box, and the
box at the Concord Public Library, until the end of the month.  Do your
bit to save the planet!

TEEN DRIVING SAFETY: 
Did you know that in 2007 3,174 15-to 20-yearold drivers were killed and
an additional 252,000 were injured in motor vehicle crashes? Would you
like to know how to prevent these crashes, and how to help your teen
become a safe driver? Concord Carlisle Parent Initiative (CCPI) is
organizing a workshop on teen driving safety for parents and teens. It
will be run as a panel discussion with representatives from AAA, Concord
Police, a Concord Insurance Agency, In Control Advanced Driver Program
(Skid School), and the new CCHS driving program. In addition to
information and tips on how to train your new driver you will be able to
learn about the new CCHS Driving Program that is modeled after the Acton
Boxborough Driving School. Wednesday Jan.14, 7 - 9pm, Alcott School,
Concord, 93 Laurel Street.
