DAILY BULLETIN
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2009

Today, many students arrived at school unable to find a parking spot that
they had paid for.  We had no choice but to tow cars and will continue to
do so until all cars have legitimate parking permits.  If towed, see Mrs.
Trainor in the Main Office.

There will be a second semester Lifeguard Training class offered through
the Health and Fitness Department.  It will begin February 3rd and will be
held at the Beede Center during A block on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   Any
student interested please see Mrs. Gillis or your guidance counselor for
more information.  Space is limited so sign up today!

Attention Seniors:  Representatives from 2volunteer will be in the
Counseling office TODAY and TOMORROW during all lunch blocks and after
school to assist anyone in need of community service hours for graduation.
 If you have not yet completed your 40 hours of service, make sure to take
advantage of this opportunity.

Join the Multi-Cultural Food Club TODAY at 3:30 in A-5 while we cook some
classic American food. Ask Ms. Lucier for a permission slip which must be
turned in with $5 by the end of Monday to participate. Talk to Giles
Pettingell, Jay Stephens, or Ms. Lucier if you have any questions. 

Attention all girls’ lacrosse players:  There will be an informational
meeting TODAY at 2:15 in H-2.  If you cannot make the meeting, please see
Ms. Furey in the counseling department or send her an email.  Some
important information about try-outs and the season will be discussed.

On Sunday, January 25 at 5:00 CC Dodge Ball is back for its annual
tournament! You can sign up for it during all three lunch blocks.  The fee
is $30 per team.  Do it soon, only 20 teams are allowed in – 1st come 1st
serve.  Any Questions, speak to any officer for the class of 2011
.
Attention Singers:  Auditions for next year's CCHS Select Vocal Ensembles
will be during midterm Blocks B, C, D, and G or by appointment.  Students
interested should sign up in the Chorus Room.

Should the military's policy 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' be repealed? Come to
JSA Wednesday from 6-7 to discuss. All are welcome! REMINDER: All Winter
Congress attendees must attend this meeting. If you have any questions,
please see Mrs. Glazer.

This February break there is a school trip going to New Orleans for
community service. If you are interested in going, see Caleb Brewer, Tyler
Wight, or Mr. Pennucci for details. There will be a meeting for those
interested in going Friday, January 23 after school in S-11.

The hypnotist is coming back to CCHS!  On January 29th, Tommy Vee is
coming back to hypnotize us all with his humorous and entertaining show.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at all lunch blocks next week.  NO
tickets will be sold at the door so be sure to get yours early.  Also, be
sure to pick up a permission slip when you buy your ticket if you are
under 18 and would like to participate in the show.
