Thinking about college?~ Come to a meeting on Friday, January 23 at 2:15
in the Guidance Office to meet with a current Bowdoin College student and
CC alumnus to talk about charting your course.~ Snacks provided.

There will be a second semester Lifeguard Training class offered through
the Health and Fitness Department.  It will begin February 3rd and will be
held at the Beede Center during A block on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   Any
student interested please see Mrs. Gillis or your guidance counselor for
more information.  Space is limited so sign up today!

On Sunday, January 25 at 5:00 CC Dodge Ball is back for its annual
tournament! You can sign up for it during all three lunch blocks.  The fee
is $30 per team.  Do it soon, only 20 teams are allowed in – 1st come 1st
serve.  Any Questions, speak to any officer for the class of 2011.

There will be a yearbook meeting on Monday after school in Room S-8, all
are invited to attend to contribute to the yearbook.

Attention Singers:  Auditions for next year's CCHS Select Vocal Ensembles
will be during midterm Blocks B, C, D, and G or by appointment.  Students
interested should sign up in the Chorus Room.

This February break there is a school trip going to New Orleans for
community service. If you are interested in going, see Caleb Brewer, Tyler
Wight, or Mr. Pennucci for details. There will be a meeting for those
interested TODAY after school in S-11.

The hypnotist is coming back to CCHS!  On January 29th, Tommy Vee is
coming back to hypnotize us all with his humorous and entertaining show.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at all lunch blocks next week.  NO
tickets will be sold at the door so be sure to get yours early.  Also, be
sure to pick up a permission slip when you buy your ticket if you are
under 18 and would like to participate in the show.

Recycle your used Electronics!!!!!
On January 24th from 9 am to 2 pm the Concord Raiders Girls Softball
Organization will host an Electronics recycling Event.~~Bring your used
items, and for the nominal disposal fee you will receive a Donation
Receipt and the knowledge that your item will be recycled! This is being
held at 300 Baker Ave Concord MA, which is conveniently located right off

Caroline Hill Scholarship Applications for the Caroline Hill Scholarship
awards are available to Carlisle's current high school seniors for
continuing post-secondary education including colleges, universities, and
vocational schools. These need-based awards typically range from $500 to
$2,000. The awards are made in late spring.  You may download the
application from the Board of Selectmen page at [

applications will be available in the CCHS registrar's office, the Gleason
Public Library, or the Selectmen's office in the Carlisle Town Hall.
