IEP Clinic on Thursday, February 12th , 2009, from 7 to 9 pm.

The IEP is the most powerful tool parents have to create a successful
learning environment for their child. Presented by Special Educational
Advocates, Barbara Rich and Liz Hopkinson, the clinic will cover the
different parts of the IEP, their purpose and function within the IEP,
and how they can be developed to create a document that drives a
successful program for students with various learning difficulties. At
the conclusion of the program, the presenters will take questions, and
give suggestions about possible next steps that parents and the school
system might take to create a useful and well-written IEP.

The program is hosted, free of charge, by the Family Services Program at
Minute Man Arc, and will be held at 130 C Baker Ave Extension, Concord,
MA. For more information or to register for this workshop, please
contact Sarah Gallo, Director of Family Services, at 978-287-7922 or
