Community Symposium

Changes & Choices: Our Economy & Our Environment 
Saturday, March 28
9 AM to 1 PM
Concord-Carlisle High School

free and open to all

The Concord-Carlisle Schools' Community Education program invites
individuals and famlies to a morning symposium that will focus on our
rapidly changing economy and the ways that people and communities can
respond -- in ways that are environmentally responsible and financially
sensible.

The morning begins with a speaker, followed by a variety of workshops
(people can take two). There will be workshops for children, and movies
and childcare.

9 AM: "The Bottom Line of Green is Black " 
by Tedd Saunders, a visionary business and environmental leader who
consults nationally and internationally on how environmental
sustainability makes financial sense - and how action for our planet and
our pocketbook must happen together if it's to work.

Workshops include Backyard Gardening, Greening the Home, Clutter to Cash,
Finance for Families, Managing Money Stress, How to Make Change,
Localization and Local Resources, and more.

Lunch will be available. Come to experience a sense of community, and to
learn about easy - though important - changes that you can make,
right now, for the better.
