Freshman boy’s lacrosse meeting, TODAY Upper gym at 2:30.

Jedi Councils, Fellowships of the Ring, and Quorums of Twelve - come to
sci-fi club today at 2:30 in H-12 to discuss governments in sci-fi and
fantasy.  Free pizza, all are welcome

There are about 15 tickets to the black and white dance still available. 
They will be sold on a first come first served basis.  If you want to
purchase a ticket, see Mr. Miller in S12.

Should the US support the International Criminal Court? Come to JSA TODAY
from 6-7pm to discuss. All are welcome! REMINDER: Spring State permission
forms are due to Mrs. Glazer by March 19th.

A reminder to all juniors:  History Consortium sign ups are due on Friday.
 The Course--From Columbus to Mickey Mouse: Empire and Globalization--is
being offered at Weston during the fall semester.  Applications are due on
Mr. Hoblitzelle's desk by 2:30 PM on Friday.  Don't forget to have your
applications in by the end of the week if you are interested.

Come with us to New York City on Friday, April 10th along with the
Ecuadorian students and their CCHS hosts.  We will be leaving Concord at 6
am and returning by 11 pm. The cost of $110 per person.  So, bring us your
check made out to CCHS and give to Mr. Pohl or Mrs. DesLoges ASAP.  

Students: If you filled out a Match Maker in homeroom on Friday, please
return it to the Match Maker Box in the Main Office no later then Friday
March 13.  Results will be available in late March for $3.00

THIS IS PAID IN FULL.  PLEASE INFORM MRS. TESSARI OF YOUR FINAL DECISION
OR OF ANY OTHER PLANS THAT YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE YEAR FOLLOWING GRADUATION.

Attention BookPALS participants, please remember there will be an
important meeting TODAY, in Room H-11 at 2:30.  See Mr. Woodnal for more
information.

HELP FIGHT CANCER
Do you know anyone fighting Cancer, anyone who is a cancer survivor, or
anyone who is a special person who has died from cancer?  Help us support
Cancer research by donating money or a thoughtful letter describing that
special person who has had to fight cancer.  For every letter written and
passed in, a dollar will be donated toward the Pancreatic Cancer Research
Fund at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Letters and donations will be collected every lunch block or in the main
office anytime of the day.Make a difference in the fight against Cancer!
This fundraising effort is made by the students in Mr. Hehn's Insights and
Understanding and Challenge classes.  They have read "The Last Lecture" by
Randy Pauch, and wanted to act on his inspiration.  
President's Volunteer Service Awards Application extended to March 15th

ALL CCHS STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE. A student may apply; a teacher may
nominate a student.~This award is given to students who have demonstrated
outstanding volunteer service for at least 100 hours of community service
over the course of ANY 12-month period during your high school career.

Download the application, Fill out with complete details; drop off at
2volunteer mailbox in Main Office.

The Concord Police Department will be sponsoring RAD for females. RAD is
Rape Aggression Defense Systems, which is a realistic self-defense program
teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies, including hands-on
defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. This is a four night
course using simple and easy to learn techniques, providing an effective
and proven method of self-defense for females. High School females are
encouraged to participate. RAD classes will be held Wednesday evenings
starting today March 11, and continues March 18, 25, and April 1, from
Class 6:30PM to approximately 8:45PM. The first class will be held at the
Concord Police Department. The remaining classes will be held at the
Alcott School gymnasium. Class size is limited, to register or for more
