THOREAU SCHOOL CAKEWALK, SATURDAY MARCH 28, 2009, 1:30-4:00 at THOREAU

Concord Children's Center is looking for youth to volunteer to help us
setup our auction. We need help on Friday March 27 from 6 - 9 PM (we serve
Pizza) and Saturday March 28 from roughly 9AM - 5 PM. Volunteers may

Emerson Umbrella center for the arts would like help the day/night of
their annual fundraiser which is Saturday, March 28 @ the Concord Armory. 
Assistance is needed in the afternoon for set-up.  And in the evening to
help with a myriad of things: greeting guests, assisting with check-in,
help with the LIVE & Silent Auction, coast check, possibly table displays,
etc...  Anyone who is interested should contact the Emerson Umbrella
directly -- Call Jules at 978-371-0820.

The Concord Orchestra needs volunteers to help at their reception for
donors on March 28 at the Trinitarian Congregational Church at 54 Walden
Street, Concord. 
We need help with is cleaning up after the reception. We will need 3 or 4
students to help us clean up the paper plates etc., wash the platters and
big bowls, and bring the leftover food across the street to 51 Walden
Street where the orchestra is playing. We particularly need this help
because our usual volunteers will be filling their usual tasks of
ushering, ticket-taking, etc. for the concert.  If you would like to

Room at the Table needs help with set up, serving, decorating cookies,
pull down for the fund raising dinner in Lexington on March 28th. Please

Dresses for a Cure would like students to help them raise funds for cancer
research by donating slightly used dresses and/or by helping at the sale
