Restorative Justice Guru Visits Concord
The “grandfather” of restorative justice, Howard Zehr, PhD, will be
speaking at Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord on Friday March
27th, 2009 from 7.15-9.00 p.m. Zehr’s visit marks the progress of
Communities for Restorative Justice in serving local communities in the
wake of crime. CCHS students have been volunteering for the organization
since its inception. Zehr is also an avid photographer; his portraits of
victims, offenders, and children of prisoners will also be on display. The
CCHS Advanced Photography Class will welcome him as a guest speaker
earlier in the week. To learn more about the Community Forum, (RSVP is
requested), visit [ http://www.C4RJ.com ]www.C4RJ.com or call 978.318.3447.

~HELP FIGHT CANCER
Do you know anyone fighting Cancer, anyone who is a cancer survivor, or
anyone who is a special person who has died from cancer? Help us support
Cancer research by donating money or a thoughtful letter describing that
special person who has had to fight cancer. For every letter written and
passed in, a dollar will be donated toward the Pancreatic Cancer Research
Fund at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Letters and donations will be
collected every lunch block or in the main office anytime of the day.
Make a difference in the fight against Cancer! This fundraising effort is
made by the students in Mr. Hehn's Insights and Understanding and
Challenge classes. They have read "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pauch, and
wanted to act on his inspiration
