Academic Enrichment Course Opportunity
If you need to fit an extra class into an already full schedule, need a
class which is not available locally, or simply enjoy using technology and
want the challenge and flexibility of a high-quality online class, Virtual
High School can help.
Virtual High School students have the opportunity to select from a variety
of semester-length and full-year courses, including core, elective,
advanced placement (AP) and Pre-AP courses. These courses are listed on
govhs.org.
How can I benefit from VHS?
Through VHS, you will:
Take one or more high school classes online, entirely over the internet.
There is no cost, but enrollment is limited to 25 students, and to courses
not offered at CCHS.
Enjoy small class sizes and low student to teacher ratios.
Engage in unique collaboration opportunities with peers from around the
world.
Take advantage of the flexibility of VHS courses that can take place
anywhere, anytime during the school year (summer school is not available).
Participate in courses that are highly desired, yet are not typically
offered locally.
Receive high school credit.Take advantage of AP and other courses not
offered at CCHS.
