Attendance reports are due to Mrs. Merry, in the main office, by the end
of the day, Wednesday, May 13th.
A reminder to all who ordered tuxes from Bonardi's~ The tuxes will be
available for pick up on Wednesday May 13th from 11:00-1:00 in the faculty
dining room.~ Parents may call Bonardi's at~1-800-752-4036~to pay the
balance or the boys can bring~cash or check~with them on Wednesday.~
Forget the Celtics' Playoff!~ The real action will be at the Senior
Project Fair TODAY in the Library starting at 7 o'clock.~ Marvel at what
members of the Class of 2009 have accomplished:~ urban art, movie
production, culinary creations, hip-hop demonstrations, yoga, learning
Farsi, art work, historical research,---- even chicken coop design! Can
the Celts boast any of those achievements?~ 2009 thinks NOT! ~~ Oh, yes:
there will be refreshments ---- and not Gatorade!
All this week is Bike-to-School Week. Enjoy the fresh air and join
friends and teachers in riding your bike to CC. See Mr. Beckwith with
questions.
Which book will it be? Choose the title for One School One Book. Thursday,
May 14, 6-7pm in the Library.
Three Cups of Tea or A Whole New Mind? Nominations accepted from the
floor. The choice is yours.
Attention Seniors: Please visit the CCHS library and let us put you on
the map. Sign up to be included in our "Seniors on the Move" bulletin
board which details your travel, job or college plans for next year.
Don't forget to come in and add your name to the clipboard.
Need Spring cleaning? Yard work? ~Hauling? Mowing? ~Here is your chance
there is Baseball Team work day on May 16th. ~$12/hour per player and all
proceeds go to the CCHS Baseball program. ~Scheduling morning shifts from
9-12 noon and1-4 pm, 2 players per shift. ~Call Kate McCandless to sign up

The Rotary Club of Concord is helping out with a drive for children in
Iraq that are in need of school supplies like pencils, paper, binders,
etc. A box is located in the main office, and we would appreciate any help.
Concord Trails Logo Design Contest
How would you like to see your art all over town? Design a logo for the
Concord trail entrance markers to be placed on town conservation land
throughout Concord. 1st Prize is $100 Gift of Concord Gift Certificate
(and logo selection) 2nd Prize: $50 Gift of Concord Gift Certificate,
3rdPrize: Concordopoly game. The contest is open to ALL AGES! Logo
designs should fit on a 4 round white disk. Use only one color. The
design must include the words, Concord Trails. Submit entries by May
15th by email (JPEG, TIFF, PNG, or PDF format; 2MB max) to

The Garden Club of Concord is sponsoring a free lecture open to the public
meeting Wednesday, May 13th at 7:30 at the Trinitarian Congregational
Church on Walden Street. The speaker will be Paul Tukey, 2006 American
Horticultural Society Garden Communicator of the Year, speaking on "Seven
Dirty Words: the Essential Vocabulary for Saving the Planet". ~Mr Tukey is
a TV and radio host and frequently appears on HGTV and Good Morning
America. He publisher of "People, Places and Plants Magazine" and is
author of a best selling book on organic lawn care.
