Today will be the last day for Nurses visits for Senior Wellness. If you
are a senior and you have to fulfill this requirement today is the last
opportunity. Please pass on this information to other seniors.
Attendance reports are due to Mrs. Merry in the main office by the end of
the day Wednesday, June 3rd.
Congratulations to the winners of this year's Moot Court Competition, Sam
Corrao Clanon and Katharine Price and also to their very worthy opponents
Peter Andersen and David Shoup. An impressive performance by one and all.
There will be a brief meeting right after school in S-16 for all students
interested in playing boys' soccer next Fall.
Patriot Productions and CCTV are looking for several camera operators for
the band concert on Friday. See Mr. Sapp in the English Department or
Charley Paige in CCTV if you can help out.
Juniors are needed to work at the Class of 2009 Graduation Reception,
Saturday June 13th. Volunteers will receive community service hours and a
chance to say goodbye to the graduating seniors. The reception ends about
4:30 pm.~ Appropriate dress is required.~ A sign up sheet is located at
Mrs. Hammer's desk in the main office.~
Seniors who did not preorder a yearbook may purchase one for $80 during
lunch blocks and after school. JUNIORS may begin to pick up their books on
TUE JUN 2nd, Sophomores on June 3rd and Freshmen on June 4th. Any
questions see Jessye Kass or Joanna Nix. We hope you enjoy the yearbooks!
CC Fights Back Benefit Concert
The CCHS Dance Club is sponsoring a benefit concert for the fight against
breast cancer on Thursday, June 4th, at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium. It
promises to be an exciting evening of dance, song and great music for
everyone, young and young at heart. Special appearances by our very own
Serious Repercussions and Taiko After Dark drummers. Tickets are $10 and
will be sold during all lunches, starting TODAY through June 4th. Tickets
will also be available at the door the night of the concert. Proceeds
will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Please plan to join us
for this great cause. Bring your family and friends. Donations will be
greatly appreciated.

Attention all former students of Alcott Third Grade Teacher, Debbie
Grossman! After 27 years of working in the Concord School system (along
with~8 years prior to that), Mrs. Grossman is retiring and we are trying
to put together a scrapbook~from~all her former students. If you would
like to~write a note~to wish~Mrs. Grossman~good luck, good-bye, send a
picture, write a poem, etc. you can put it on any color size 8 1/2 x 11

San Marcos Benefit Concert on June 6th
Saturday, June 6, 2009 starting at 7pm at 51 Walden Performing Arts
Center. Astonishing Tales featuring Henry Bloomfield and Davis Vigneault
with special guests Sai Ghose, Matt Coogan, Matt Cronin and Ricky
Napolitano will perform a concert to benefit the Concord-San Marcos Sister
Cities Committee and its project to bring water to El Uval, San Marcos,
Nicaragua.~Tickets: $10, available at the door. Please call Steve
