This is just a heads up...the cafeteria will be closed @ 1:10 TODAY for
band Pops set-up.
A reminder to seniors. All seniors will need to leave the campus following
the assembly on Monday. Seniors may not return to campus until 2:20. If
there are things that you need to take care of, please arrange to do so
either before the start of the assembly or after 2:20.
IMPORTANT: Seniors listed below must see Mrs. Coleman TODAY.

Another Seniors Reminder:~ Have you signed up for All Night Live?~ 220 of
your classmates have!~ If you~are planning on~going to All Night Live,
your last~two chances to buy tickets~will be at Cap & Gown Pick up and
Baccalaureate. Tickets are $25 each, checks should be made payable to CCHS
Graduation Party.~ Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
Attention Juniors:
Due to the fact that next Monday, June 8th, is the seniors' last day, you
will not have open campus privileges on that day. Also, effective
Wednesday, June 10 you will not be allowed to park on the driveway. Cars
without parking permits can park in the student parking lot. Your car
must be registered with Mrs. Trainor in the Main Office.

All sophomores, honors bio freshmen and juniors who need to take the
science MCAS tests this week are reminded to go to the café at 7:25 on
Thursday and Friday. Mr. Badalament will call you down to the H building
when the rooms are ready. Room assignments will be posted near the
library, café and on the H building room doors on the morning of the tests
and were read in homeroom last week.

Come celebrate the end of the school year by attending Coffee House's
first collaboration with CCHS's Radio Station, WIQH, for the "48 for 88"
event! The event starts at 4pm this Friday!! Bring your friends to this
relaxed and FREE, outdoor concert!
Rock and Roll yoga SATURDAY JUNE 6th class is CANCELLED.
Juniors are needed to work at the Class of 2009 Graduation Reception,
Saturday June 13th. Volunteers will receive community service hours and a
chance to say goodbye to the graduating seniors. The reception ends about
4:30 pm.~ Appropriate dress is required.~ A sign up sheet is located at
Mrs. Hammer's desk in the main office.~.
San Marcos Benefit Concert on June 6th
Saturday, June 6, 2009 starting at 7pm at 51 Walden Performing Arts
Center. Astonishing Tales featuring Henry Bloomfield and Davis Vigneault
with special guests Sai Ghose, Matt Coogan, Matt Cronin and Ricky
Napolitano will perform a concert to benefit the Concord-San Marcos Sister
Cities Committee and its project to bring water to El Uval, San Marcos,
Nicaragua.~Tickets: $10, available at the door. Please call Steve

The annual Willard Carnival is just around the corner!~ The Carnival is
Sunday, June 7th at the Willard School. It is a great community event and
a wonderful opportunity to earn community service hours.~ Set up for
the~carnival begins at 8am and the booths are open from 12pm-4pm.~ We
would greatly appreciate volunteers to help with set-up, the booths, and
clean-up.~ Any student that is interested in helping, please contact Ann
Breckenridge at breckannie at yahoo.com.~ We have shifts available throughout
the day.
The carnival has been a great success in years past in part to the
incredible volunteers from CCHS. Thank you for your support of this fun
event!
Summer Stages 2: The Young Dancers' Program

Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy provides advanced beginner and
intermediate-level students, ages 12-16, with the opportunity to
strengthen their technical skills and expand their knowledge of
contemporary dance. This two-week, half-day program offers daily classes
in ballet, modern dance, repertory and composition, and hip hop. [

First Aid and CPR training
The Community Education department offers as many American Heart
Association courses as possible each June, to help teachers and community
members prepare for their active summer pursuits. All courses are funded
with student fees, and are provided as a community service of the
Concord-Carlisle Schools. Information (fees, course content) and

included. Financial aid is available upon application. Best wishes for a

The 30-hour classroom section will meet in H Bldg, for pre-registered
students only. You must be 15 years, 10 months old to start, and 16 by the
final class. Behind-the-wheel times will be available the day, early

Concord Summer Reading Program - a few intern openings remain for
assistants
Drumlin Farms - working with visitors to educate them on wildlife and
farming
DeCordova Museum - Teaching assistants for art classes
Project Have Hope - Help sell Ugandan jewelry to benefit the African women
who make it.
Stoneymeade Therapeutic Riding - assist with the riding program
You can find these opportunities from our home page also, by clicking on
the section that says "Current Opportunities & Special Requests". We
update this calendar whenever we receive new volunteer opportunities.
Please help support in the effort to provide shoes to children who need
them most. There will be a box in the main office where old pairs of
running shoes can be placed. All of the shoes will be sent to Africa
through the Shoe4Africa program. With all of your help, we can truly make
a change. Please see Tomasen Brady for any questions or email him through

~Several singers from CCHS ~will be performing in a Singer/actor Master
Class on Sunday June 7th from 2-4:00pm at the Unitarian Church in Carlisle
center. Singers will be Kathy Bentley, Chris LeVan, Nikhil Krishna,
juniors Aletha Smith, sophomores Julia Brem, Val Caddell, Katelyn Colman,
Hilary Olsen and freshman Evan Sibley. Junior Helen Titchener will student
direct scenes fromThe Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro, and
Tosca. Please come and support your fellow students.
In the evening of the same date June 7th from 7:00-9:00 and also at the
Unitarian Church in Carlisle another group of CCHS singers will perform in
a recital. Freshman Hannah Kilcoyne, Janiece Dottin, Mary Beth Rush, Evan
Sibley, Sophomores Val Caddell, Katelyen Colman, Bryan Given, Charles
Michelson, Sophie Spiers, Eli Siebert, Larry White, Rachel Mazur, juniors
Krista Stengrevics, Jess Stout, and seniors Daniel Sairsingh,Evan Ames,
Matt Dornemann and from Nashoba Brooks School Jenna Gainsboro and from the
Codding School, Billy White.~~ All are students of Paula Eldridge, an
IMSCC instructor.~
