A reminder to seniors. All seniors will need to leave the campus following
the assembly TODAY. Seniors may not return to campus until 2:20. If
there are things that you need to take care of, please arrange to do so
either before the start of the assembly or after 2:20.
Another Senior Reminder:~ Have you signed up for All Night Live?~ 220 of
your classmates have!~ If you~are planning on~going to All Night Live,
your last~two chances to buy tickets~will be at Cap & Gown Pick up and
Baccalaureate. Tickets are $25 each, checks should be made payable to CCHS
Graduation Party.~ Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
CCTV will again videotape the CCHS Commencement on June 13th.~ DVDs of the

Attention Juniors: Effective Wednesday, June 10 you will not be allowed
to park on the driveway. Cars without parking permits can park in the
student parking lot. Your car must be registered with Mrs. Trainor in the
Main Office.
For all boys interested in running cross-country next fall, there will be
a mandatory meeting to discuss the Legion of Doom on Wednesday at 2:15 in
H5. Questions, see Mr. Lane or Ms. McCabe in Social Studies

Come to Amnesty International this Tuesday at 5pm in H-3 to revisit
Amnesty's position on the death penalty with two of our new leaders for
next year. All are welcome!
There are a limited number of 2008 yearbooks available for purchase. If
you'd like to have a copy (or an extra one), bring $20 to the Yearbook
office.
CCTV is looking for camera operators to videotape graduation this
Saturday. If you can help out, see Mr. Sapp in the English office or
Charlie Paige in CCTV.
Juniors are needed to work at the Class of 2009 Graduation Reception,
Saturday June 13th. Volunteers will receive community service hours and a
chance to say goodbye to the graduating seniors. The reception ends about
4:30 pm.~ Appropriate dress is required.~ A sign up sheet is located at
Mrs. Hammer's desk in the main office.~
Please help support in the effort to provide shoes to children who need
them most. There will be a box in the main office where old pairs of
running shoes can be placed. All of the shoes will be sent to Africa
through the Shoe4Africa program. With all of your help, we can truly make
a change. Please see Tomasen Brady for any questions or email him through

First Aid and CPR training
The Community Education department offers as many American Heart
Association courses as possible each June, to help teachers and community
members prepare for their active summer pursuits. All courses are funded
with student fees, and are provided as a community service of the
Concord-Carlisle Schools. Information (fees, course content) and

included. Financial aid is available upon application. Best wishes for a

The 30-hour classroom section will meet in H Bldg, for pre-registered
students only. You must be 15 years, 10 months old to start, and 16 by the

who make it.
Stoneymeade Therapeutic Riding - assist with the riding program

3 openings left Summer 2009 Community Service Internships Concord Public
Schools Summer School Alcott School Monday to Friday, 9 AM to Noon, June
30 to July 24
Interested CCHS students are invited to apply for a limited number of
volunteer
teacher-assistant positions. Required: a serious commitment to helping
elementary
school students and their teachers in a high-quality summer program of
math and
language arts. Duties include helping with classroom management, preparing
lessons,
assisting with small-group and individual instruction, and supervising
recess activities. A
limited number of community service positions are also available with
morning and afternoon science and art programs for children at the Alcott
School.
