A reminder to all students and parents
no drinks, water bottles, soda
bottles, Dunkin Donut cups, etc. are allowed at the football game tonight.

A reminder to all Freshmen—Please passes in your signed Electronic
Communication Agreement to Mrs. Trainor.

If you are dropping off students along driveway, please ensure your
vehicle stops at or as close to the orange cones as possible so we do not
block the buses.

HEY THERE, IF YOU ENJOY MUSIC AND DANCE, COME JOIN US AFTER SCHOOL IN THE
AUDITORIUM TODAY AS THE DANCE CLUB KICKS OFF ITS NEW SEASON. YOU DO NOT
HAVE TO BE A DANCER TO JOIN THE CLUB. JUST COME, RELAX AND LEARN SOME NEW
MOVES. WE WILL BE MEETING REGULARLY ON FRIDAYS AFTER SCHOOL IN THE
AUDITORIUM.  HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE AND BRING A FRIEND OR TWO!

Interested in doing community service? Then come to Interact! Interact is
a rotary club program for community service with an international
emphasis. We will have our first meeting on Monday September 14th at 2:30.
Any questions please see Mr. Gauthier from the social studies department
or Zack Cutler. We hope to see you there!

Interested in the great outdoors?  Want a hands-on experience and the
chance to participate in field studies? The new environmental field
studies club is giving students the chance to explore nature, and learn
more about birds, plants, vernal pools in local areas and more.  Come to
our Friday meetings right after school in S-2, or speak to Ms. Guiney, Ms.
Murphy, or Mr. Goodwin with any questions. Even if you can’t make the
whole meeting, just drop by!  Hope to see you there!

The History Reading Group will meet Friday afternoon at 2:25 in H-6.  If
you enjoy reading, discussing current events, and want to find others who
share your interest, come join us.  If you can't make it, please contact
Mr. Hoblitzelle

Do you like to sail or would like to learn to sail? There will be a short
informational meeting after school today for anyone interested in the CCHS
sailing team. Join us in room S-11.

Attentions doodlers, drawers, illustrators, manga experts and abstract
painters; The CCHS Art Club is having its first meeting of the year on
Monday, September 14, right after school in room A2. No experience
necessary, all are welcome so bring a friend.

This Saturday September 12th the Class of 2010 will be hosting the first
all school dance of the year from 7 to 10:30. The theme of the dance is
"Hoedown Throw down" so don't forget cowboy hat and lasso. Tickets will be
sold all lunch blocks in the café for $10.

Attention all Seniors: Show your class spirit by attending the Class of
2010 Tailgate Tonight. Stop by~at 5:30 and~enjoy some delicious food
before the first home football game of the season.

Attention all seniors!  ALL PHOTOS for the yearbook MUST be submitted by
September 15th at the very latest!  That includes senior portraits, baby
photos, baby blurbs, photos from junior prom and the sophomore semi,
senior summer, back in the day photos, and anything else you would like to
be featured in the yearbook.  Again, ALL of these photos are due September
15th.  Please see Joanna Nix or Mr. Sapp with any questions.

The Class of 2010 will continue to sell Student Planners. Quantities are
limited. Each planner costs $10. Cash and checks will be accepted. Please
contact Lisa Harris at 978-371-2494 Checks should be made out to CCHS
Class of 2010 for $10.

FLASH!  SPECIAL TICKET PRICES FOR CCHS STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF! Social
and political comedian, Jimmy Tingle will headline a benefit for
Communities for Restorative Justice (C4RJ), Sunday, September 13, 2009, at
5:00 PM at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.~ $20 tickets will
be on sale in the CCHS cafeteria, Today 9/10, during lunch blocks for CCHS
students, faculty & staff!~ ~ Join us for some laughs!

The Farm at Walden Woods, owned and operated by The Walden Woods Project,
is seeking part time volunteers to work at our farm stand this fall. The
Farm at Walden Woods provides fresh, locally grown produce to the
community and seeks to advance the ongoing conservation efforts of the
Walden Woods Project. Shifts are available from 12pm to 6pm on Thursday,
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from September 15th through October. Your
primary responsibilities will be to manage the cash register, restock
produce as needed, and assist customers with their purchases. This is a
perfect opportunity for high school students to build up community service
hours in a fast passed, demanding, and fun environment.  For more

CCHS Driver Education
Fall 2009 Classes
CCHS Driver Education consists of 30 classroom hours, 12 hours of
behind-the-wheel instruction, and 12 hours of on-the-road observation.
Parents/guardians are responsible for an additional 40 hours of
on-the-road practice. Students will have one year to complete the program.
3 class times to choose from this fall:DE 105: Monday & Wednesday,
September 14-November 9, 6:30-8:30 PM, CCHSDE 106: Tuesday & Thursday,
September 15-November 3, 2:15-4:15 PM, CCHSDE 107: Sunday, November
1-January 24*, 5:00-8:00 PM, Concord Public Safety Building Parent meeting
(mandatory, choose one): Wednesday, September 16; Thursday, September 17;
Wednesday, December 2; all at 7 PM at CCHS.All CCHS Driver Ed Requirements

CCHS Driver Ed Parent Class
To parents of students who will enroll in CCHS Driver Education this year:
The Registry requires that a parent or guardian provide at least 40 hours
of supervised driving to complement the 12 hours of mandated driver
education behind-the-wheel instruction. Parents must also attend a
two-hour parent class. It is open to all CCHS parents, including those
currently in CCHS's driver education program and those who plan to enroll
in a course later this year.The next three sessions are,Wednesday,
