Attention Seniors: Order your Cap and Gown now!! See Mrs. Coleman in the
Main Office ASAP. Cost $25.

There will be a candle light memorial service held in Clair Day's memory
TONIGHT at 6:30 in the courtyard next to the library. If you have
questions or thoughts, please contact Sarah Rush.
Juniors, who have given their name to Mrs. Trainor, may get their parking
stickers NEXT Tues. Sept. 29. You will need your license, car registration
and check for $300.
Attention Juniors. Do you want to reduce the cost of your personal senior
prom ticket? Stop by the scratch card fund raiser table in the cafeteria
during all lunch blocks starting Tuesday for information and to pick up
your scratch cards.
Attention all students interested in learning about film and television
production. Mr. Sapp is offering an independent study in film & TV that
will include working with cameras, sound, lighting, editing, and
broadcasting. See Mr. Sapp in L-2 if you're interested. Who knows--you
might be the next Spielberg!
TODAY at 2:30, the Film Club is holding an informational meeting in H-12
where we'll vote on the first movie to show this year--all suggestions are
welcome!
Are you interested in the backstage part of theatre? Things like stage
lighting, sound production and set construction? Then come to the first
Theatre Tech meeting TODAY from 2:30 to 5:00 in the auditorium.
Everyone's welcome regardless of experience. If you have questions,
contact Ben Marsh or Mariah Ganek!
Join Green Revolution, the new Environmental Club. We will be having our
first meeting on Wednesday, September 30 in Room S-16. Our aim is to help
CCHS and the community go Green! See Mr. Nichol for more info.
Wanna look fly on the field? The girls varsity field hockey is selling
crazy spandex as a fundraiser in the café during lunch blocks this week.
Interested in the great outdoors? Want a hands-on experience and the
chance to participate in field studies? The new environmental field
studies club is giving students the chance to explore nature, and learn
more about birds, plants, vernal pools in local areas and more. Come to
our Friday meetings right after school in S-2, or speak to Ms. Guiney, Ms.
Murphy, or Mr. Goodwin with any questions. Even if you cant make the
whole meeting, just drop by! Hope to see you there!
There will be Chorus Uniform fittings for all new members starting next
week.
The dates and times are: Tuesday, September 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Monday, October 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00
to 6:00 pm. All fittings are in the Chorus Room.
CCHS SOCCER TEAM HOSTS KICKS FOR CANCER GAME! TONIGHT the CCHS Mens
varsity soccer team will be playing Boston Latin @ 7pm at the turf field
behind the High School in the Third Annual Lois Wells Memorial Kicks for
Cancer Soccer Match with all proceeds donated to the Dana Farber Cancer
Institute. This night game is in memory of Concord resident Lois Wells,
who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.~ Lois is the mother
of Steve Wells, who is the team's assistant coach and a 1999 graduate of
CCHS. Tickets will be on sale at CCHS Back to School Night on September
24th and at the event. Raffle Tickets will also be available. We invite
you and your family to join us on the evening of the 25th to watch a great
soccer match and help support cancer research.
