Dear CCHS Parents,

Many of you are familiar with the Helping Hands program, either from an
experience working with the program at the Concord Middle School or through
other organizations in Concord and across other communities. Maintaining
confidentiality, volunteers deliver meals to families who have suffered a
loss, are in transition or have to deal with an illness.

The Concord-Carlisle High School Parents Association has initiated a Helping
Hands program to offer support and comfort to our neighbors and friends in
the Concord, Carlisle and Boston areas who have students enrolled at CCHS.
The program is coordinated by the CCHS Parents Association and the CCHS
Guidance Department.

If you are available to either prepare a home-cooked meal or shop for a
ready-made dinner given a few days notice, please contact Amy Bruning at
978-369-6340 or via e-mail at amy.bruning at verizon.net. Meals are dropped
off at the family's home in disposable containers so that no return of items
is necessary. If you are aware of a family in need, please contact Alison
Furey in the CCHS Guidance Department via e-mail at afurey at colonial.net.

It is very much appreciated and makes a world of difference to the family.
Thank you.
