DAILY BULLETIN 
MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2009

CCHS Back to School Night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 7 at
7:00 p.m.

Please do not drop off students at the lower gym parking lot. Students may
be dropped off in front of the school (not in the circle) or the side
entrance by the student parking lot.
 
Students are reminded that there is absolutely no parking in the lower gym
parking lot that means before school, during school and after school.

Attention Seniors:  Order your Cap and Gown now!!  See Mrs. Coleman in the
Main Office ASAP.  Cost $25.

ATTENTION ALL SENIORS  IF  YOU HAVE  A COLLEGE DEADLINE  FOR November 1st
THE   STUDENT   RECORD  CONSENT  FORM  MUST BE  PASSED  IN  TO MRS.
TESSARI NO LATER THAN  October 9, 2009.

PSAT Sign up begins today.  Bring your $29.00 check or money order made
out to CCHS to Mrs. Tracy in Guidance.  NO CASH!

The METCO Student Leadership Committee will meet Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 2:20
in A5. 

Attendance Reports are due to Mrs. Merry, in the main office, by the end
of the day Wednesday, October 7th.

There will be a Weeds: Organics and sustainability club meeting on Today!
after school in A-1. We will be taking a miniature field trip to some
local community gardens to see how our neighbors act sustainable locally!
All are welcome! Hope to see you there!~

Are you interested in connecting with the world outside of CCHS?  Do you
value and enjoy making a contribution in a global setting? Learn about
different cultures by participating in the Global Literacy Program. Come
to an informational meeting on Monday, October 5th; at 2:30 in L-6 and
start your adventure by sampling multicultural snacks!!

THE STUDENT NEWSPAPER, THE VOICE, WILL BE HOLDING ITS FIRST OPEN MEETING
ON THURSDAY, OCT. 8TH AT 2:15 IN H-16.  ALL INTERESTED STUDENTS ARE
ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.  WE NEED REPORTERS,
PHOTOGRAPHERS AND GRAPHIC ARTISTS, EDITORS AND WRITERS OF ALL KINDS.  THE
MEETING WILL BE SHORT AND THERE WILL BE FOOD.  PLEASE COME AND BE PART OF
YOUR SCHOOL'S "VOICE."

Attention Juniors.  Do you want to reduce the cost of your personal senior
prom ticket?  Stop by the scratch-card fundraiser table in the cafeteria
during all three lunch blocks starting Tuesday the 13th for information
and to pick up your scratch cards.  While you are there, you can pick up
your ALL NEW class of 2011 T-shirts.

Are you interested in the backstage part of theatre?  Things like stage
lighting, sound production and set construction?  Then come to the first
Theatre Tech meeting on Monday from 2:30 to 5:00 in the auditorium. 
Everyone's welcome regardless of experience.   We'll actually do some work
on the Falsettos set as part of the meeting!  If you have questions,
contact Ben Marsh or Mariah Ganek!

JOIN THE SPANISH DEPARTMENT ON AN EXCITING TRIP TO SPAIN!We will be
traveling to Spain during February vacation, and the itinerary is packed
with fun sights to see.  Sign-ups for interviews will be available outside
of L-3 starting this Friday.  For a flyer and more info, see Ms. Lynch or

The dates and times are: TODAY 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Tuesday, October 6,
from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. All fittings are in the Chorus Room.
