If any students ordered school portraits, they are in the main office,

ASAP, picture retake day is Wednesday, October 14.
Seniors should be checking the diploma name list posted on the senior
window near Mrs. Coleman in the main office. Absolute deadline for any
change is October 30.
Attention Seniors. There will be a suggestion box in the library where
you can nominate a teacher for our graduation speaker. Please enter your
nomination today.
TODAY is the last day to sign up for the PSAT's. See Mrs. Tracy in
Guidance with your check for $20 made out to CCHS.
Film Club will finally meet TODAY at 2:30 in H-12! All are welcome, and
bring suggestions for next week's movie!
Come to an informational meeting Tuesday October 12 in the little theater
at 2:30 for BookPALs!! You will learn more about this great program and
how you can earn community service. If you have any questions don't
hesitate to ask Peter Standish, Alex Painter or Michael Morrison. See you
there.
Anyone interested in the Spain trip must sign up for an interview with Ms.
Lynch or Ms. Volpe. Sign up sheets are posted outside the door of L-3.
Interviews will begin soon. Come join us on this exciting trip!
Attention Juniors. Do you want to reduce the cost of your personal senior
prom ticket? Stop by the scratch-card fundraiser table in the cafeteria
during all three lunch blocks starting Tuesday the 13th for information
and to pick up your scratch cards. While you are there, you can pick up
your ALL NEW class of 2011 T-shirts.

SOUNDS OF THE CITY A collaboration with Berklee College of Music and
friends.Two great bands - one night, this Saturday! *The People's
Republic*, a neo/jazz/funk quartet and the *Beantown Swing Orchestra*, an

November CCHS Driver Education
The next CCHS Driver Education course will meet for 10 3-hour sessions on
Sundays, 5-8 PM at the Concord Public Safety Bldg (Police/Fire Station).
Enrollment is limited. The course includes 30 hours of classroom, and 12
hours of driving and 12 hours of observation. Fee $600. You must be 15
years 9 months of age to begin the classroom work, and 16 or older to
obtain your Learner Permit. Details at www.ace.colonial.net. Schedule:
Sunday, 5-8 PM, November 1 to January 24. No class December 27, January 3,
January 17). The next Parent Class (required for parents of Driver
Education students, no fee required) will be on~Wednesday, December 2, 7-9
